Is there a way to make a yellow RS into a Red? Will boosts help?
-
Yellow RS are perfect foundations, which are 100% breeding ability. Red RS are experfs, which are 105% breeding ability.
101% breeding ability counts as red/B, though.
So in short, yes. If you just want the paper to say red, a one percent boost will do it. However, if you want them to be the same ability/quality as one that naturally comes red, you'll need a 5% boost.ISO any and all Silver Pocket Watches!

As an example to what Lally is saying...
As an RS his guy was a high C papered stud so a 1% boost bumped him up to a B. Just barely though so he is about as low a B as you can get.

Always looking to buy foundation brindle drafts in black, blue roan, grullo, classic champagne, etc.
I work a 7day on 7day off schedule and my activity here will reflect that.
I can be very scatterbrained and forgetful so if I don't get back to you in a decent amount of time just poke me. -
Can I add boosts after I put on the special genes? By the way love your macchio.

@Wendolyne yup! As long as they're still GMTable you can add boosts.ISO any and all Silver Pocket Watches!

@Wendolyne
Yes, he was boosted after I did all the other gene stuff. As long as they are unbred.
@Lallyhop - Do you know if the 4 year old limit still applies to boosts or has the age cap been lifted for those too like the other GMTs?ID# 47364

Not sure! I'd assume it would be under the general umbrella of "GMT Work", though, and thus have no age cap.ISO any and all Silver Pocket Watches!

Actually, I just checked and the oldest horses in the drop down box are 4, so the age limit does still apply for boosting.I was jllewis on the old forum.
