ISO Roached mane with longer forelock
  • Hey guys,

I'm trying to make my warmbloods and their tack closely resemble Australian Stock Horses and the regulations on competition attire and presentation as set by The Australian Stock Horse Society:

'Traditionally, ASH have their manes hogged (roached) to prevent the mane getting tangled in reins, and to prevent excessive heat under the mane. This tradition has continued, and the majority of ASH that are shown have their manes hogged. Tails are left natural, as are forelocks'

    As seen in these images:

This is my sister riding my ASH, with his roached mane with fetlock:

I know that the game has a roached mane already, but it doesn't have a visible forelock with it (when using a bridle), like the carefree mohawk, which is the next best thing that I have found, but it isn't the same :(

So I was wondering if anyone knows if this style of mane is available in the game either in a tack pack that I need to purchase or if its body type specific?

If there isn't one, I'd really like people's opinions on whether the roached or mohawk looks better, 'cause I can't decide and it's driving me nuts. :D

    Thanks,
    TBH

  • The roached mane and Mohawk are closest to what you are looking for, there is not one specifically like the ASH style. Of the two, I think roached is closest, but I liked the roached look so I might be biased. You can pretend the forelock flipped to one side :)
Here is a link to the tack catalogs, if you want to go through and see if something else might work.
