Feeling Sentimental
-
So KP was one of the very first GMT genes I got into many years ago when I started playing the game. One of my very first GMT horses was Wild Bourbon, a KP mare. Later, I created my first KP stallion, Mood Indigo.
Somewhere along the line RoseFlute bred those two together, probably from an egg from Wild Bourbon. I quit the game. I came back, and Rose generously sold me this mare from my old lines for my new KP line:
Bourbon Mood KKwxbS2
She passed away at rollover, leaving me with 32 eggs stored.
I started my new KP line with Day of the Moon as my anchor stallion. DivineDreams owns a particularly lovely son of Moon, MoonSpice.
And from these two I have this lovely new filly, combining my old and new lines perfectly and carrying this blood forward in my herd
Bourbon Moon KKtMb3
From those 32 eggs I have 8 intact fillies, precious bundles of pixels.
It just has me feeling a little sentimental. Without Rose generously giving me this mare, without Divine sharing straws, without all the players from years ago and from today who shared their time and their stock and their enthusiasm for this game, I don’t think I’d be playing anymore and I’d be missing out on such a fun, kind, generous, NICE place to be.
Thank you, Ammit, and thank you Confluence, for ensuring that this community continues. It means more than y’all can ever know. -

You deserve it. As Kintara said... your generosity has been incredible over the years. And I'm about to make your day a little better. I don't have my last Mood Indigo straw anymore I must have used it within the last few seasons but I do happen to have 2 saved Wild Bourbon eggs and one is being sent your way!

Cheers, not a day goes by that I don't see your kindness and generosity being put into action. You are a huge part of making this community a welcoming place!ID# 43830

When I started this discussion a few weeks ago, I was feeling happily sentimental. And then Moon sent me an egg and I’ve got to admit, I’ve been a little afraid to use it. But it’s the end of the season and I figured I should take the plunge...
And I could not be more thrilled! I did a little work on him, but when his image popped up and I saw that brindle I just started internally screamining!
