Doesnt she look like she is hom snowflake...?

Her sire is a hom snowflake boy, and her mum is a potential Het snowflake mare. I went to the breeders club, and no snowflake foals popped up.. But she looks like an obvious snowflake. Her sire also has w3... Could the speckles just be that? I've never worked with it before..

Yup, that’s the w3. It looks slightly “fuzzier” than snowflake, and the distribution of the dots is slightly different, too.ISO any and all Silver Pocket Watches!

Het means a 50/50 chance of passing it on. Even if she was, you could go a dozen foals before it showed. However, keep in mind there is absolutely no way you can see snowflake if it’s not hom with appy and in the club. It doesn’t show, period.
The only way you could possibly know a horse is het snowflake is if one of their foals is in the snowflake app club, and then you would know for certain, 100%, they are het snowflake. Anything else you might see on a horse not in the snowflake app club is probably varnish or other odd white speckles.ISO any and all Silver Pocket Watches!

Albeit that’s with one exception: if the horse is in the fantasy club, they would not be able to be entered into the snowflake club, and therefore might be snowflake without being in the club. No other exceptions, though.ISO any and all Silver Pocket Watches!

You cannot tell a het snowflake by looking at them - at all. The only way to tell a het is if they have a homozygous parent or they have thrown a snowflake foal. Neither of your babies look snowflake to me, but they sure are beautiful foals regardless!

Het snowflake foundation mares are pretty hard to come by, while het 2G mares and hom 2G studs are quite a bit easier. If you’re interested, I have some 2Gs that I’d be willing to part with to help you out. :)ISO any and all Silver Pocket Watches!
