    DP 4A Gilded Sinner

This is what I'm going for with my black liver line (I don't have a catchy name for it, sorry). I like anything with 2 sooty genes and 2 dp genes, and my chestnuts and bays show this. I also have a bunch of fantasy genes and almost all of the white genes on hom dp horses.

So, in short, I like dark bays and chestnuts with lots of different kinds of chrome :). I've been working on these lines for probably 6 months or so. When I first started, I had no idea what I wanted to breed for and it took a while to narrow things down.

Basically, I'm going for Tobiano Appaloosas of any color. Preferably a lot of white. I basically just call the line "spots", but I need a better name.
For my "spots" I prefer riding horses and riding ponies. I like them to look very similar to this boy, or a tiny bit more solid with an appy butt.
I have been working on this almost since the day I started playing (probably like 2 weeks after I started, really). I'm so in love with the Tobiano Appaloosas.
    Love,
    Spry

  • This is a great idea! It is very hard for me to choose which line to represent because I have quite a few but I think I'll go with this one.

Name of breed or line: Restless Line (Named after the stallion that started the line. Most of my horses in this line go back to him)

Features of your breed or line: Grullo with homozygous splash and tobiano. Hopefully with a lot of white and a blue eye.

How long have you been working towards your goal: Since I created Restless in June of 2017. I am up to 5th generation.

Line- Kings Line (named after the stallion they came from)
Breed/line features- in Jan when I started the game, I kinda went every direction at once choosing what I wanted to breed for. I was still in that thought process when I bought King to bootstrap to. I knew I wanted DP, and alot of bold patterns on dark coats, but for the life of me couldn't find a liver star papered stud. Thinking, eh, he will work for now, I bought him. Still haven't found a star liver stud, but I think I'll have one in a season or twoStill in those beginning stages of figuring out where I was going and not knowing what I was doing, King hit on every mark with everything I bred him to. He produced a wide range of colors. Now, he still has his place being bred back to his daughters and grands. I'm hoping to hit the star/gold mark this season from him. This girls mama came from my w8 line just to see what would happen. I so wish I could afford to go into the lab and make her Liv chestnut, but her dark coat and clear combo of Appy/Tobi/w8 made me fall in love with her. The insane amounts of patterns on dark coats is what I breed for, especially when they are clear for all to see. I'd love to have splash and other things added to it too and I'm not far off from that goal.

How long- I started playing in January so probably since Feb.

    Line- The Unexcepted Knabstruppers
Breed/Line features - I breed true to color and patterning for Knabstruppers, and gray is not allowed what so ever. So that's why they are named such. This is a brand new line I am starting on this account. I got him from a HH and was blown away by his coloring and markings. I don't have a whole lot of idea of what I want to do with him just yet since Gray will turn white over time, but I want to work on lots of patterning. Also, since I am such a sucker for height, my goal is between 15.3 and 17.3 hands high.

How Long - I just got him last week, and while I wait for breeding to start again I am working on securing a few mares for him to hang out in a pasture with to see what happens.

I've got a few third gens that have two-thirds of the features I'm looking for, so it's still a work in progress. SA Millionaires Luck G4 s

Name of breed or line: AMillionReasons Line (named after the sire who founded this line, Millionaire and because there are a million reasons why I enjoy these colours haha. It also makes me think of millions of snowflakes.)

Features of your breed or line: Tall DP and/or Pearl carrying drafts with W10 and Het/Hom Snowflake, Sp3 is also permitted. I adore the interaction of W10 and Snowflake, I think it makes it look like the snow is falling down onto the horse and starting to build up where it lands.

How long have you been working towards your goal: Since June last year when Millionaire was born and I decided I wanted to focus on tall, pearl/DP drafts with W10. Once I discovered he carried the snowflake gene I begun to tailor my breeding to incorporating this. The boy pictured is a Millionaire grandson and the highlight of my breeding goals so far and has also proven to be a wonderful sire in his own right.

  • Name of breed or line: Wild Bavaria
Features of line: I am currently breeding for wild bay drafts and cobs with sooty and/or DP, S+, and eventually satin. I've been working towards this goal since I got ice9 during the Summer Refresh event in June. I love the way that ice9 adds depth and darkness to the base color and the quiet elegance that satin and S+ add to a solid base color!

I've got the wild bay/ice9 combo down, still working on S+ and satin:

How long have you been working towards your goal: Since April, when I started experimenting with silver black horses.

Mike is representative of what I'm working towards - POI, Ponies of the Internet. Well built, well balanced, well rounded, versatile, spotted ponies.

I joined in late February 2018 and intended to breed Miniatures. When I learned there was a minimum height limit and that you couldn't select for conformation or type, I decided to focus instead on breeding ponies based on the POA.

    CC HeWearsManyHats

Name of Breed or Line- ad-Dahna Medicine Hats
Features of the Breed- Named for the ad-Dahna Desert (central part of the Arabian Desert), my Riding Horse/Arabian line focuses mostly on Liver Chestnuts with Splash Tobiano Appaloosa patterns. This results in very flashy Medicine Hat marked horses! I also started breeding to outside studs to introduce Sooty+ and Kitm! I like to keep them around 15-16hh.

I have been working on this project since June 27th this year, when I impulsively purchased HeWearsManyHats for only $2600. He is one of my favorite horses in my game! I now have several mares who are almost identical to him, as well as many others with features I like! I honestly have had more luck with this project than any of my others, and I've spent WAY more money on them!

    Viperistic Night

~Name of breed or line: Currently Specktrical until I get a larger amount of horses within this goal and branch it off.
~Features of your breed or line: A wide range of base color horses showing heavy KitM spotting, currently middle of the WB horse size which I'll eventually work on increasing. Also will be adding Nexus once I have the patterns and size where I want them, I think the stars peeking in and out of the color areas will truly set the KitM pattern off.
~How long have you been working towards your goal: I joined April 14th of this year so still working on setting my different goals but I started this particular goal last month when looking at a few of my KitM that had turned two and the image of the Nexus stars was dancing around my head while doing so.

Name of breed or line: Kaloseidos Sport Horses
Features of your breed or line: Small horses/large ponies featuring the KitM pattern and colors including liver chestnut, chocolate palomino, blue roan, and sooty buckskin. Height range of 13.2 hands to 15.2 hands preferred. Other patterns such as tobiano, rabicano, and frame are featured on some horses.
How long have you been working towards your goal: I joined in February of this year, and decided to breed KitM around March. It's been a lot of trial and error, but I've found some good stock and I'm excited to see where it takes me!

    3 Take Back Your Barley

This young lady represents a significant step forward towards achieving my breeding goals. I joined this past February, and the seeds of this line were already in my head from the start.

Malosi Draft horses will personify size, substance, and strength without sacrificing elegance and versatility. Although color should never take priority over type, conformation, soundness and temperament, darker colors are preferred, with roan, appaloosa, KITm, and KP in any combination producing a spotted, speckled, mottled appearance. Pinto patterns and other patterns producing large white markings are discouraged.

    2SK Frozen Speckles

Honestly, this boy is pretty much all I want for this line already, I’ve just got to get the rest of them looking like this :x

Name of breed or line: Nothing catchy, it was just Kanskie Snowflakes but it’s much more than that now, so I need to come up with something new. Maybe Kanskie Speckles?

Features of your breed or line: Hom DP, hom KP, hom SNF, hom appy (and hom kit genes for that KP to show up, of course)

How long have you been working towards your goal: Since I bred Speckles. It was love at first sight, and now he’s aging up in just a few short beautiful days. I’m going to run out his 50 breedings before pastures even manage to open, knowing my self control, and he’s already got almost a dozen people interested in straws. :))
ISO any and all Silver Pocket Watches!

God grant me the hbs to buy the ponies I need,
The fortitude to resist the shiny ones I truly don't,
And the wisdom to know there will always be more next time.

    Fenrir Azmodeus Wolfgang

Name of breed or line: Wildlands Horses (As posed to snowflakes, GP or the Ransom bred lines)
Features of your breed or line: Dark black based duns with varied coats and aiming for high quality (based off of breeding quality). The sooty plus, soy, DP combo has been working really well for me in these bay duns. I also like silver sooty plus grullos and often have rabicano or other such things sprinkled throughout my lines. They should be mostly if not entirely solid with minimum white factor. Inspired by the Konik and Tarpan horses.
How long have you been working towards your goal: 2 years, or whenever I started playing.

  • What a fun idea!

    image
    Xossa G2R

My very first idea for a line was this -- pure black drafts, as huge as I can breed them. Dark and intimidating: fit for your favorite character of nightmare to ride or drive. It was my first proper line, so I've been tinkering with it since January when I joined.

It's been harder than I expected to keep the white down! W20 is hard to breed out, and without very low white factor, it always seems to sneak in somewhere even without any kit genes. It was a bit of a learning process for a new person, even though the results look so simple!

    BW Snowy Nyght

I am still fairly new. I have a few lines/breeds that I am excited about that are barely getting started but I want to share this heartbreaking boy who is inspiring a whole new breed project.

    Name of breed or line:
    Snowy Nyghts (For Now)

Features of your breed or line:
Hom Sooty/Hom DP (Black Liver) Snowflake, Splash Appaloosa, Hom LP, minimal blanketing to show off as much of the snowflake pattern as possible, with just enough white factor for the frame to have interesting play.
I want to breed them tall and heavy.

How long have you been working towards your goal:
Since this guy appeared last season from a sleep deprived breeding attempt with a mare HiddenCreek had put up for brood and a straw I had in my freezer.
He is the first horse I have ever considered trying to unalter and boost simply because I found him so stunning. I know it would not be worth it so he is now one of my most beloved show horses.
Hopefully I can create more like him in the future.
