Another post cause I bred my pastures and oh my am I a HAPPY girl.
I didnt get my homozygous nexus A papered colt this season (because I didnt get any homozygous nexus colts haha) I did however get FIVE homozygous nexus fillies one being very similar to my favorite colt I've ever bred who got snipped!

Silly double post. :P anyway, the only foals I've done so far were the 2nd gen A boy and the little gelding I just posted to Abbey's stud's post. I've been more working on culling all of my mares. :P

@Pine Stables, your two liver foals have adorable almost-matching face markings.

@Salvistar, your pearl colt is awesome. I have such a soft spot for matching stockings and a big blaze. Then he has a spotted blanket too, which is like the cherry on top.

@MoonAcre Stables, wow, I love your GP and W10 filly. She is gorgeous! And look at all those amazing Nexus foals. I have to say that Persephone and Siren are stunning, though it was hard to pick just two because they are all fabulous. Congrats!

@Ripshin Creek, Little Less Talk is adorable. I can't wait to see her when she is a two-year-old. :D Congrats on the brindle boy! He is awesome.

@Confluence Farms, those are neat back socks and a cool face marking too. Nose barring anyone?

@Msolomornor, I think the flaxen mane is cute on your strawberry roan. :)

@Smswiere, whoa! Music Hearts and Double York Pie are definitely favorites. Their coloring and markings are incredible. And congrats on the brindle!

This is my only foal of the season thus far and I'm in love with him. :x Hopefully I can come up with a studly-er name when the time comes.

@Pine Stables: Love your two. That little spot on your first guy's leg... Super cute!

@Salvistar: I love that pearl colt! I bought him but he tested B, so I've got him back up for sale at the same price if anyone wants him :) If not, he'll make an extra pretty show pony.

@MoonAcre Stables: Wow, you sure got some bling this season! I love your favourite and Galaxy Guardian, too.

@Ripshin Creek: Yay for your Smoothie filly haha! She's very cute :) I have a feeling that her light tail has something more to do with the roan, though? I'm new to GP so I could be very wrong, but your other roan foal has similar tail shades. Also, that brindle is cute as heck. I'd name him Ragnarok, but he's beautiful enough that anything will suit lol.

@msolomonor: Congrats on your 2nd gen girl! Love the flaxen roan. Hope she makes some nice third gen babies for you in the future!

@smswiere: GAH that brindle! Congrats!!! Really though, who can go passed a pretty S+ like you've got there lol. Officially jelly!

@Ritsika: Ticking Bell is so little and cute. Love the Ice markings, too. Also, studly or not, Ticking Bell is a great name lol.

@Confluence Farms: Love your three! I especially love the face markings on Gemini Dream. And he's a liver chestnut pearl?? What a jackpot!

I haven't had as much luck this year, unfortunately! I am in love with some of the colour my pasture has produced and all of the colts are superior to their sires, but they all compared inferior to my benchmark. So, they will all either be sold or made into show ponies.

This guy has made up for all the snips, and has a nice story behind him. He is from my last straw for Cheers' Designed To be Wild, and I really, really wanted an in tact foal. I was a little bummed because I thought I'd already used all of my best mares in my pasture breedings, but one of them had obviously slipped through the cracks! I've never paid much attention to his dam because she's not a special rank and doesn't have a particular fancy AFPT score. But after I looked at her foals, I noticed they are all in tact and the colts are superior to their sires. So I thought why not give it a go? It worked out! I got an awesome colt who has CT'd AGA my benchmark, and is het GP and het DP. He's the perfect future stud for my GP line. So, so happy with him!

So Ragnarok (thanks for the name mabelhavana!) papered C, so he is getting on the gelding bus. I was so bummed, but then I got this and I became happy again!

So many cute foals! I've finally finished my second generation mares and these are a few of my favorites.


2G Pales to Compare
I think the pseudo-double dilutes are just as cute as the real ones. One pearl and one cream to make this pretty filly.


2G Space Light
The way that white 2 interacts with tobiano is really neat on this filly and almost makes her look roan.


3G Neo Lite
A really cool homozygous KP colt that I'm excited about. His white 4 sort of resembles appy spots under his tobiano markings and the KP mark is like varnishing.

All in all, I can't wait to see how all of these foals grow up. They are all so pretty. :x

So Cool Ima Pretty

I bred my first homozygous Nexus and I couldn't be more excited about him. He passed free testing but I doubt he will remain intact when papered. Look at his neat little burst of color on his side! Love the unique pattern generator. :x

Wow that is so cool! I love how different they all are. Ive never seen one with little splashes of color like that! I hope he papers well for you!
