There used to be, but Ammit decided to remove it. I am not sure why, but that club has been disband for over a year or more.

I don't remember a w10 breeder club at all. There are chat rooms for w10. It is a shame as both myself and my main account Dinascar breed a lot of horses with w10. There are a lot more w3 and w8 horses than w10 but it is growing now so I think it should be considered.

I know that at one point there just werent enough horses to make it worth while. The snowflake club struggled for quite a while before it took off. It may be that there aren'e enough intact horses with enough foals to fill the Top Producing Stallion/Mare slots.

When you are counting, just count the intact, breeding age mares and stallions...that's what would go on the leaderboards. PLUS, remember, to be eligible for the leaderboard a stallion has to have 25 foals, minimum.

Of my 3 stallions, only one has over 25 foals. The other two only have 1 and 3. I have 14 total breeding horses with W10, and I've been breeding them for several seasons, now.

@LairRua I just found it! My request has been pending for so long I had forgotten about it.

Looks like, to get a breeders club we need to start collaberating and sharing.

Hard to do sometimes with the rarer genes as I know I get the urge to hoard all my pretties. LOL
And I also understand people's wish to keep quality in their lines.

That reminds me, I have some W10 straws collecting dust. Time to brush them off maybe. ;)

On that note, if anyone has any black based W10 straws available I would be interested.
I had planned to GMT my FF stud with W10 during the summer refresh but life prevented me from getting to it before the sale was over. :(

Off subject, but @ConfluenceFarms, I have a 3 year old stud that's on the leaderboard (KitM, ithink) and he only has 12 foals? I've only breed him to 10 mares and this season is his first. The other two were from straws. Is he on there by mistake?

Back to subject, I've been trying to hunt up w10 horses for sale for a while now with no luck. I just got my first w3 mare and it was a hunt to find her lol. I'd love to get into breeding for w10 if I can find some good stock to start out with. I'm not able to afford GMTs very easily yet so this is a project I had in mind for a future goal.

I think i vaguely remember it being dropped to 12 foals needed for studs to be eligible. Don't quote me on that, though.

I'd like to add more w10 to my herd, if anyone has an extra colt that passed SBA and papered decent, 2 or 3 g preferably. I have one intact mare with 7 foals & a handful of alters.

If so that's awesome! He just barely qualifies lol. But he's sitting pretty in the top 10 on that leaderboard. I'm so proud of him. He's pretty much the total package for me lol.

I love W10 but a lot of mine is in my Fantasy line. I have some in my Meteoric line though and I’m always looking for more. With the gene not being in the breeding lab and having had only a very few limited releases, it’s hard for us to build up enough decent stock to make a breeders club viable. I hope it’s either added to the lab or re-released soon and that Ammit will make a club...it’s the only Kit pattern without a club and I think we could JUST pull one off though nothing would be on the foundation boards.

@BlackWyld no worries I'm happy to hold onto him. The only Milestone descendants I could get my hands on were a couple 3g C studs and I bred to a few public mares as well. I'm okay to work my way up from the mailroom as it were. I don't drive myself crazy anymore with the even breeding thing...eventually as long as i get some that pass SBA then that is my benchmark.

@Amgr1992 thank you for buying him. As many of us experience, it seems like I got a good 3-1 ratio of colts to fillies on my first breeding season of w10 so I put most of them up for sale hoping someone could use them...it's so hard to sell studs! I really hope he does well for you.

@BlackWyld I don't want to sell him just yet but how about some free straws when he's ready? Maybe by then I'll be ready to sell. I got this black liver one who is my favorite right now...i love how he looks like a blue roan but our eyes deceive us!

I have 17 intact w10. I'd love a breeder's club for the gene. It's one of my favorite patterns.

And this guy is my oldest one with the gene. He has 83 foals
