Pasture use question
-
I use my pasture every month for (usually) expanding my show pony line.
This yea I used it to breed some 2nd Gen instead. Not only did my pastures finish breeding on the 13th (my real life time) but it also got me thinking as to why it did that.
My mares for some reason said they had been in pasture for I think 20 days when it was really about 17 did this affect the finished breeding on the 13 or was that due to updates and everything with the site?
Another question is, can I use my one pasture to automatically breed more than one group of mares at a time? For example: after breeding my 2nd Gen line can I now put my foundations in and have it autobreed in 15 days?----

The pastures automatically run every night of the 13th, but you can stop breeding from actually happening, if you want, by keeping the studs you would use out of the pasture.
Your mares' pasture bonus didn't affect the pastures running, but it does affect the quality of foals. :)
You can definitely have multiple herds of foals in a pasture at once (I usually do), but always remember to take them out before the 28th or they'll be yummed. I'm not sure whether there will be another auto breeding of the pastures at the end of the month, but you can definitely move your foundations in and manually click the breeding button. :)
Sorry if you already knew a bunch of this, but there are always new people joining and reading along. :P -
Pastures actually run the first time you log in any time after the 14th. You must log in for it to happen.
If you leave stallions and mares together in real life they will do their duty to the species and have babies regardless of if you want to. You will need to hid "Breed this pasture" if you want to use your pasture more then once a season.

And yep they often auto breed a second time at the end of the season.

Yea I knew most of it but the extra information could be useful to others like you said :]
I think I never noticed the breeding on the 14th because I usually wait till the 15th or 16th to log in----
