How do I show a picture in chat?
-
Yeah, I’m saying the same thing as what I said on the title, but really how do ya do it?A breeder of top-quality Warmbloods.

In a buddy chat, pictures don’t post. Go to the horse’s page and scroll all the way to the bottom. There’s a 1 line link in a box that says URL only (for Facebook) above it. Copy that link and paste it in the chat to put in a link for the horse.
On the forum, you can post the horse’s picture with a link to it. Again, go to the horse’s page, scroll to the bottom and the next to bottom box has a 2.5 line link in it. Above the box it says “copy and paste the below text to share a photo link of this horse on the forum”.
Both of these options are in the Share This Horse section of your horse’s main page. -
Or, if you want someone in a chat to see the stats of the horse, you could also copy and paste the URL at the top of the horses page.
Ex: hj2.huntandjump.com/63638/..... Etc. -
@MariaChapinFarm3 Yup! The url at the top of the page and the “facebook sharing” link are the exact same thing, so it doesn’t matter where you grab it from.
For that matter, for those of you who don’t know, the number at the very end of the url is the horse’s ID number. You can manually replace that to look for any horse in the game by ID number, like if you decide you want to see what horse 1700000 looks like (he’s a gelded chestnut appy owned and bred by @DragonRun ) or if you saw someome post a horse in chat that only had a number, but they took it down and you are curious to see what it looked like. You can also use it to shorten your personal notes, by copying just the id number to a particular horse you’re making a note of instead of the whole link.ISO any and all Silver Pocket Watches!
God grant me the hbs to buy the ponies I need,
The fortitude to resist the shiny ones I truly don't,
And the wisdom to know there will always be more next time.
