Private Treaty Breeding for Premium Members | No breeding rules allowed on the public list anymore

Introducing Private Treaty Breeding
How Private Treaty Breeding works.
If you have a premium upgrade go to. Community >> Buddy List. Add the id number of any user you would like to be on your buddy list. Then select the horses to stand for private treaty from the Private Treaty Breeding section and set a price.
From then on until you remove the horse anyone on your buddy list can breed to that horse, regardless if it is up for public breed or not. (Be sure to remove the horse if this was a one time only breeding)
This is a brand new feature and rather complex. I have tested it to the best of my ability, but I would give this a few weeks before you rely on it 100%. Use it with members you really trust for a bit on non ultra special horses.
->Add yourself to your own buddy list and be able to live cover your own horses with out putting them up public.
->Private Treaty Breeding horses stay on the list until you remove them. They do not get taken down during season changes.
Just a note right now Private Treaty horses always show on the members public page and always show a for breeding button. I am still working on that. It doesn't let you breed during the off season or after a mare is already bred but it looks like it will. Just know that is on the still needs finished list.No more breeding rules on the public list
Just like with public sales the public breeding list is for everyone. Just like it says in the rules. You can not make restrictions or regulations about who can breed to your horse, what kind of horse they can breed to it, what testing they have to do, what they have to do with the foal etc.
Please do not ask me a ton of questions about "is this specific thing ok." If you have to ask you already know it is borderline. Don't make it a problem with other members and it won't be a problem with me. You do NEED to remove any rules you have on your stallion/mare pages ASAP though. There is no getting in trouble for it yet but they are now against the rules and there may be punishments someday. Why is this change happening?
The number one source of drama and conflict on this site is breeding rules. Removing the option to start fights over it and giving people a way to breed privately will solve the issue.

Make sure you update your stud notes NOW. I am seeing a lot of studs on the breeding list that have rules. I am going to start removing those as I see them and if I do you will also lose any other notes you have on that horse, including your comparison testing notes etc. so fix your notes!

I need some time please. I have tons of public studs. I will start working on them today but it is a busy holiday weekend.
-
I am not taking them down just yet, you have a bit of time, but this was posted about long before this weekend so it won't be long. :D I just don't want you to get caught out and lose your important notes that you do want to keep.

Yeah, I knew it was coming but not when, & I wasn't able to share my horses and ask people to breed evenlyish without notes, till today. I spent a couple of hours putting them all up yesterday.
Will there be a way to search for horses up for Pvt breeding?
Is there a way to take all public horses down like it was rollover and then I can start getting everyone in compliance before putting them up again? -
Sorry you missed the time frame. I said in the original post it would be in July.
Can't search yet, that will change in the future. Anyone can look at your page and see all the horses you have up for private breeding though.
I can totally help you out with a bulk edit though. I can wipe the notes of all the horses you have for public breeding, or wipe the notes of only horses with the word "rule" in their notes, or take them all off of breeding for you, or any combo of the above. Let me know what would be most helpful to you :D (*)

Same goes for anyone else with a ton of horses up for breeding with rules on them. I can wipe the notes for you, or take them down for you that is no problem. I just don't want to remove notes from people who have comparison test notes and things on their horses since those are so expensive.

I think I have most of my stallions done, as far as 'Requests or Rules' notes. I still have to edit off some that have 'Cloning' notes, and Notes to Myself for 'In House Only.' I thought I had them almost all done, but I have more stallions than I thought. :D Then, I keep getting distracted, and start doing something else when I am taking those last notes off. I will concentrate on doing the last of them today. I may have to have your help, if I can't get them done today and tomorrow. Thanks for offering to help Ammit.
-
Yep, I did miss the time frame, or I wouldn't have put them up yesterday.
If you could take all of my horses (382) off public breeding that would get me in immediate compliance and then I can wade through relisting, notes and buddy list. Thanks Ammit. Not having to relist a lot of my horses every month is going to make a big difference in my life, and I like a lot of other aspects about this feature, too. :)Thanked by 1Ammit -
@PaintsStables If your horse is in house only then it is not up for public breeding so you don't have to update anything.

Thanks Ammit, no they are not for public breeding, it was more of a note to myself, not to put them up for public breeding.
-
I have horses with notes but don't know who they are, but they also aren't up for public breeding so it shouldn't matter?
-
Nope if they are not up for breeding it does not mater. You can have all the rules you want for straws/private treaty etc.
