We share each other internet from time to time.

Any other person in this game could help give her horses. But no not me because I let her use my internet because we live in the middle of nowhere with very limited mobile access. How am I doing something wrong but everyone else can do it.

I've wondered the same, my spouse plays the game too

Section 3 clearly states:

"Multiple Accounts: All the below rules apply to accounts owned by the same member.
There is a limit of 3 free accounts per household.
All accounts owned by a single member must have the same email address.
Creating more than 3 accounts even if some or most are deactivated is still a lockable offence if done to excess.
If it is found that accounts you own contain different email addresses all your accounts can be fined or frozen.
If more than one player accesses their account from the same home all accounts owned by both members are considered one member, i.e. you and your sister can not send gifts to each other or share a single upgraded account.
Members may own as many paid accounts on HuntAndJump.com as they can reasonably manage, but no more than 3 free accounts.
Members may not sell and breed horses between multiple accounts they own for any reason.
Sales or breedings between accounts owned by the same member will result in fines or removed horses.
For no reason should a horse be transferred repeatedly between accounts owned by the same member.
For no reason should a horse in a basic account be sold to an upgraded account for the sole purpose of utilizing upgraded features.
Members who are transferring money between accounts will have all accounts fined or frozen."

Section 3 states:
"Selling horses between accounts owned by the same player is prohibited unless BOTH accounts have a Premium upgrade."

Also per the FAQ:
"Why does it say my account is associated with someone elses accout?
1 Internet Service Providers are given a block of numbers called IP addresses that are rotated for their users. Each time a user logs on, their computer is given one of those IP addresses. When that user ends the session, that IP address is released for use by another user. So, if your Internet Service Provider is a large, national one, you can become associated with another user somewhere else because you both have been randomly assigned the same IP address at some time.
Unless you are paying to have a stable IP address, you will frequently have a different one each time you log into the Internet.

2 There may be a similar mechanism involved with phone access to the internet. If both you and the other player have the same cell phone carrier and they use a rotating block of these numbers, you could easily have become suddenly, randomly associated."



It is due to random associations such as the above that the work around of a middleman was introduced and allowed otherwise Ammit would more than likely veto that work around as breaking the rules.

Are there people who possibly use the work around to sell to roommates or their besties whose accounts have gotten associated because they basically live at each others houses...sure. Does it make it any less against the rules...No. It's not just you that is not supposed to do it.

At the end of the day, since it is your girlfriend and you do spend copious amounts of time at each others houses in RL and from the sounds of it logged in to hj2 at the same place, the only truly viable way for you to sell each other horses is to both get Premium memberships.

Posting Rules: Please make your posts legible by using proper capitalization and punctuation, and avoiding chat speak.
For example, use normal capitalization and not all caps or no caps.
One punctuation mark will do. "!" is excited. "!!!!" or "???" is unnecessary.

I am the rules police, and what CeffylDwr posted is correct. Ammit is at GenCon this week, and posted on facebook a SPECIFIC request for no drama, reminding everyone that drama is an auto-ban. This qualifies as drama, and any more posting on this thread, or this subject will be considered continuing that drama.

The rules are there for a reason, and have been in place for years. Anyone caught breaking the rules will have their accounts locked. If you have a problem with any of this, you are welcome to PM Ammit, but do NOT post it on the forum.

I'm so distressed about this whole ordeal. This is honestly such a mess. I would message ammit if I was aloud too.
