Sometime back I believe I saw a post about the purchase of a horse taking a very long time to go through, and the reason was that the game had to go through and check all the associated accounts to make sure that sale was ok. Also that the more associated accounts you had, the longer it would take. Or something like that. Well, it takes forever now for me to purchase a horse, so I checked my associated accounts list, and sure enough, it's a mile long. Is there any way to get it cleared off or does it have to just take a long time now for me to buy a horse?

It shouldn’t take long to buy a horse. The game doesn’t have to search through the accounts associated with yours to see if it’s ok it automatically knows if you are associated and blocks the sale if you’ve used the same IP address. Once your associated it won’t be cleared away but I’d try clearing your cache and cookies out and seeing if that speeds up your purchases.
