Funny Story of the Day
-
My friend, Jesse and I went to a tack shop today. The tack shop is quite a distance away from my home and our workplace. We work at the same job, but our uniforms differ in sizes. He worked at 2pm today. I didn't work at all. He didn't have his work uniform with him. He only had his hat and shoes. We get to my house and it's already around 1:45pm. Our job is about 20 minutes away from where I live. He dashes in my house, up the stairs to my bedroom and grabs my uniform shirt and pants. He puts them on and has to pin the pants cause they're too big. I'm a size 20 waist. He's a 6'3 195lb guy. He runs out my door and makes it to work. A few hours later a coworker snapped a photo of him in my uniform and asked me "What is this???" And I was laughing so hard, I still haven't recovered.
Tell me your funny story of the day. -
Y’all are an excellent example of Friendship Goals <3<br />
I have a friend of very similar size to your Jesse. Somehow (all my height is in my legs), we can wear the same length of pants, even though he’s a good 8 inches taller than me. About 50 tacos ago, we could wear the same size jeans, but alas, those days are long gone. However, my buddy is able to rock my Lularoe leggings : ) I thought about giving him a pair for the holidays. -
Today was a "quiet" day around my house but the other day held some amusement. As I state in the Lets Play A Game post I have a huge assortment of odd critters on top of what most people would call normal, to the point my house could be considered a small zoo in both numbers and assortment, on top of the wildlife I foster and rehab (yes I have my licenes if anyone is curious). My oldest brother who moved to Alaska 17 years ago came to visit for awhile and will be in town a few more weeks, but made the decision to bunk at my house since I have the most extra room out of all our siblings. Growing up my brother new I was the oddball of the girls, while my sisters were playing dress up I was out catching frogs, so he expected some of my babies and also knew about working with wildlife. After he arrives and settles in its getting into late evening and he decides to help me with taking care of the critters for the night. Everything is going smooth, chickens put into the coop, nightly feed and water done bottle feeding the fawns done and so on. I have a large koi pond with a 4 foot high fence around it, which you would think would have clued him in that something wasn't normal about that, and its now time to feed the residents within. We get to the edge of the water and after instructing him to toss the pellets of the first bucket all around the pond I dump a bucket of shiners (live bait fish) into the water. By this time the sun is below the horizon and its hard to see, curious about the live feeder fish he leans out to try and see what he thought was beautiful koi eating the shiners and slips into the pond. As he's sitting in the water ,which is chest high on him, trying to right himself a very large and very heavy object swims onto his lap chasing one of the little fish, it was at this point my 6'9" burly brother learned the art of running on water, also the point I nearly die from a sudden lack of oxygen as laughter of that degree just simply will not allow inhalation to occur. My snakes don't bother him, the scorpions don't bother him, the tarantulas kind of creep him out, but a 2ft wide three legged snapping turtle nearly did him in and probably would have if more than just the one out of the 28 suddenly climbed in his lap. Other than the daily antics of my critters that was the funniest thing I've got to witness in a long while.
