Gonna Be a Lil Worried a While... *Major Update*

I've had this paint horse since the day she was born. I was just about the only person that could mess with her. She even would follow me around. This year (2018) she'd be five. Not saddle broke or anything. But truthfully, a great friend. For 5 years, she's refused to leave her mother's side. They're literally inseparable. My grandmother told me today that the 5 year old (her name is Baby) has been missing for 2 days straight. She's thinking something happened to her in the huge pasture. She's supposed to be walking the pasture at some point to see if she can find Baby, either perfectly fine, or not...
**Update, she still hasn't shown up, and it was too dark for my grandmother to search last night, so she's going to search today, when it's daylight.

I'm sorry to hear that and hopefully she's found safe and sound. If a spot in the fence was compromised she could have gotten out and not found her way back in. My horse in the avatar pic is a Houdini and I'm constantly having to track him down. Call any rescue service in the area including the local pound while they don't take horses often they are reported to them if one is seen loose. Also call all vets in the area for any reports and leave a description of Baby incase someone does call in. Another to call if the vets and rescue organizations haven't had any reports is the local police which is another place loose horses get reported and of course any neighboring farms. Praying for the best and sending loads of virtual hugs.

Thanks. I hope so, too. I had thought she may have gotten out, but the fact that she never went anywhere without her momma, makes me think she may not have. But anything is possible. I'll let my grandmother know to call people. (I'm in a totally different state right now). And it bothers me, that if she did get out... Strangers can't touch her...she won't let them. It's usually only me. So, if she is loose, it may be nearly impossible for them to catch her.
