I need some cheering up please :(
-
I literally just don't even know how to say this, it hurts that much. We are putting our 16 year old Jack Russell down today in less than 2 hours... We have had him since he was a pup. I have been crying all day, even at work. I just need some cheering up :(

Oh no, I am so so sorry. There is nothing that can make it easier, only time can numb the pain.
The last two dogs I had both had to be put down at 9 because of cancer. "Luckily" they were both so sick that I absolutely knew it was the right thing to do. I still miss them every day, and my son still talks about the one who died first. He was only 2,5 when she passed, but he still remembers her, even now that he is 9 <3Thanked by 1AHayesHorses -

I'm so sorry. I've lost dogs to, and it hurts so much. The worst thing is that they go to a place where you feel you can't care for them anymore. But in really, they go home to God, when they know joy and happiness. And they still love you, and visit you sometimes. You'll know when he does.
One thing I have found that helps is to start keeping notes about all the little memories of your dog, and the things he would do, or you would do together. it eases the pain because it is a way to keep him close to youl
Sniff. I'm tearing up just writing this, and I last dog I lost was 6 yrs ago. But they are all special. You'll meet again.

So sorry Hayes. Never easy having to put them down. The memories you have is well worth those. It is better to of loved than to not of loved at all. I just lost my 8 year old pit/ lab cross Duke a few months ago. I miss him because he helped me when my hubby went to jail for 6 months. He helped me to cope. I saw him born. Hugs to you and your baby.Thanked by 1AHayesHorses
