Even though I only joined HJ2 in April this year, I fear I may be slightly addicted to it already.
I woke up this morning with “silver smokey grullo roan sabino” in my head, a colour I don’t own any of but which I must have been dreaming about. Now I can’t stop thinking about it. I’ve spent all day trying to breed my own draft filly just like the one in my dream but this little snipped WB boy is the closest I can get

I bred this cute little WB filly and she’s close but I still don’t feel like I’ve achieved what my dream self was aiming for. Plus I prefer drafts lol.

Now I’ve spent over 500k today, I’m running out of funds + barn space so I’m going to sit on my hands until after Sunday’s auction when I’ll hopefully get some money back!

Does anyone else dream about this game? Have you ever woken up with random breeding goals you can’t stop thinking about?
Does anyone have a silver smokey Grullo roan sabino Rabicano they can show me? :-((

I'm pretty sure I joined in March... And within 24 hours had 3 accounts started. I haunt the forums trying to glean those hidden tricks that will make my adventure not only fun, but profitable. The people I've encountered have left me happier as a person, and has anyone mentioned the horses? ...and the lack of penis pics. Just don't even get me started on how much I love that.

I worry my addiction will reach the point of spending real money, and there’s no coming back from that. For now, I will resist the impulse; despite how much I would love to have a few shiny new barns to fill with even shinier ponies ;)

I’m tempted to reroll to try and get the Rabicano to show through more but I don’t want to end up making her worse haha. Glad I can go to sleep now I’ve finally satisfied that dream craving... Wonder if I’ll wake up wanting some other colour combination. Watch this space haha

I joined in the beginning of February and had a premium upgrade within like ten days. I then spent close to $200 real dollars within the first month on hbs, new barns, and multiple pastures. Yes I fell asleep thinking about goals, dreamt about it, and would check the HH in the middle of the night hoping to hit rank specials (this was before they became pretty common). I was bad. Every spare moment I had I was on the game. I officially forbid myself from spending any more real dollars other than the monthly membership because it was way out of hand and I felt very guilty and it was not excusable. I have two side accounts, one of which I had started for my daughter that she lost interest in so I took it over. I hit the million hb create lotto on that account so it allowed me to purchase a year basic upgrade with only hbs so that was awesome. That account let me do totally different things because I could buy some really nice snowflake and satin horses that I couldn't afford with my primary account so that helped alot when I was stuck on my primary. I recently started a third free account that is strictly drafts and I'm happy to keep that one small and simple.

Yeah...I have 4 basic upgrade accounts... Every time I think, well I wanna try this line of horses cause I love that color it winds up turning into a new account lol. I'll breed a few of said color I want and wind up thinking I could devote a whole account to just this! I started in Jan of this year and was obsessed immediately lol. I have one for Liver/chocolate pali, one for Champagnes of any variety, one for silver black/grullo and just added pearl to that one lol, and a new one I started up I think is gunna wind up being dark bay DP drafts with dramatic white patterns across all accounts lol.

Don’t say that! It’s Saturday and I have the day off, all I have planned for today is housework... How do side accounts work, you just can’t swap money or horses between them? Would it be easier to join HJ1 instead?

If you don’t have premium you don’t swap money/horses. If both are upgraded you can move stuff around.

I made a bunch of sides when my main account was smaller but they pretty much just sit there now.

Obsession level: I made a very stiff triple sized cocktail with dinner and can’t feel my face but I’m still active on here. :D

Callisto is correct. There are definitely some horses in one of my side accounts I wish I could have in my main. One option would be to just get a one month premium upgrade on the other, but since I forbid myself to spend more real dollars, i have just sold myself straws from a few of the studs I love from that account. My third account probably won't be around long because it is too much for me to manage and I'm already losing interest in it. Right now there is a great deal on the basic upgrade...I think it was only $1.99 for 3 months so if you are thinking of trying a side account now is the time!

@duelinghawks, that's exactly what I did. (This is one of the 4 accounts for RolaFarms lol) I spent the 1.99 and have earned enough IVs since getting it to buy the years upgrade within a month or so of spending the real money on it. Between the 4 they keep me occupied lol, but once they get bigger I'll probably merge the smaller ones into my primary.

August 1st will make it my second month playing, since June 1st to now I have dropped over $200 because my Australian dollar us worth more then the US dollar, it's a little scare some times your like, okay $80 in us that would be about $100 maybe, $140 something dollars later, meh it's worth it, unfortunately I dragged my friend into it and it won't just let me throw horses at her to get her started, My boyfriend also now swears with me when my horse would make a better show horse then a breeder, I'm in love with the game and will happily blow more money on the game, amitt and her effort is worth it.

I have definitely dreamt about the game!

I have 2 side accounts and the fun thing is that because I don't play them as much and they stay small, I have a lot more hb over there. It's nice when I get stuck on my primary account -- I can go play in the smaller accounts and satisfy the pony craving without going too wild with the real cash. ;)

(Not that I haven't spent my share of real cash. Ahem. Just, you know, trying to keep the game afloat. From purely altruistic motives. Yup.)

I didn’t even factor in the currency conversion (I’m in Australia too), so I just don’t think I can afford to cave into spending real money. As much as I would love a premium upgrade, solely for the “enter barn into auction” button!
At least it’s not an unhealthy obsession, being educational as well as fun. Plus it’s a good distraction when my anxiety gets over the top. So I don’t think dreaming about it is anything to get worried about.

The game is a great way to spend down yime... on the bus to and from work, and tobnb unwind a bit in the evenings. I definitely plan at other times too! Its a great combination of strategy, collecting, and socual interaction.
I spend a bit of money for premium as cvount. I view it asc how dobi want to spend myventertainmrnt budget. I dont go to movies or buy much, so, why not?
I am planning on consolisating a side acvount very soon to save some time.
