Trivia Contest Time- More Added
-
Contest time!
In celebration of hitting the 50K daily bonus mark I have decided to do a contest. Each question is a piece of breed trivia and will be answered with the name of a breed. All questions will have more than one possible answer so that one person can't sweep in and get them all correct. Research is allowed and encouraged!
The prize for correctly answering a question will be either a foal from the list below or 4 straws from any of my stallions (can be all from one stud or from multiple.) All foals sales will be done through the public buddy chat Frustration Sales.
Now for the questions!
1. This breed from Asia is very rare with less that 1,000 horses left in the world. Marwari
2. This heavy breed was bred to be sweet but strong so that they could be led by small children while pulling barges down the river. Shire
3. This breed was a favorite of the Vikings and has one very distinct characteristic. Fjord
4. The stallions of this endangered German breed must go through intense inspection before they are allowed to breed. Black Forest
5. This small, gray, semi feral breed can often be seen galloping through European marshes. Camargue
6. This hardy pony breed has an extra rim of flesh to protect it from the rain. Exmoor
7. This gaited horse was a favorite of US Civil War generals. Tennessee Walker
8. This versatile breed can be traced back to the founding sire, Figure. He even had a book written about him by Marguerite Henry. Morgan
9. This small breed averages about 30 inches or 76 cm tall. Falabella
10. This horse from the Iberian Peninsula is known for being a great war horse throughout history. Andalusian
If these questions are too easy I will add more when they are all answered and if they are too hard I will add hints. Happy guessing!

Can I make just one correction there is no such breed as Irish Black, also the house hold Calvary don't use a specific breed of horse just a type, that goes for the drum majors horse and the grey horse (which I can't remember the name of), the Windsor greys are a specific breed either they again are just a type. The only specific breed occasionally used in ceremonies are the Cleveland bays that occupancy the Windsor greys.
The horses come from Ireland because they tend to breed for a heavier type of horse than the UK.21170 ~ Breeder of quality Liver Chestnut and Chocolate Palomino riding horses and ponies with unique twists. Specializing in Kit Promoter with fancy white patterns.
