You get them for top 10 placing in breeders clubs. The awards themselves are just ribbons and trophies that sit around and look 'purty'. They also instill a sense of pride and prestige. I occasionally use the leader boards to find an outside stallion if I need one, sometimes.

The coolest awards thing I ever got was just last month: I got all of the top 10 places for highest PT score for the year in the Liver breeders club! I about bounced out of my chair. My partner just stared at me like I lost my mind!

The PT leaderboards are mostly for foals, though any newly entered horse can compete on those boards for the current year (so created brindle Rank Specials are often on the Brindle board!).

The High Points boards seem to be slightly bugged at the moment and I believe it’s on Ammits To Do list to fix that (they’re not updating automatically).

For the top producer boards, stallions and mares must have a living foal from this or the previous season, and they must have at least 10 living foals for stallions or 3 living foals for mares. They are judged based on their best x number of offspring, and having less gifted foals living wont hurt their chances of hitting the boards.

Horses must be color tested to be entered on the boards. Some horses must have been “opened” to generate their image to be entered in certain gene clubs.

Horses with any fantasy gene (Rainbow Riot, Ice, Axiom/Nexus/Wrong Warp) can ONLY be entered into the fantasy club regardless of what other patterns or genes they have (I have an ice brindle filly...wish she could be on the Brindle board too!)

As others have said, awards are given out to the 10th place at rollover between the 27th/28th. However, if a board isn’t full (if all 25 places aren’t taken by some horse) that award is not given out.
