Oh no! It’s always the prettiest ones :(

This is my first foray into SBA so it hurt a bit and, from observing everyone's trials and triumphs here, it doesn't seem to get too much easier. LOL!

I figure 11 intacts out of 44 foals isn't too bad after SBA, with a minimum pasture bonus.
I had about twice that with just BA.

Hopefully the rest of the season goes okay. I have a few more girls lined up for my SPW Chin boy and I have yet to test out my new Macchiato stud and half of his ladies are sitting in the pasture with a full bonus. (I can't wait for those babies!!)
And I haven't figured out what I am doing with my snowflake boy. Nothing too exciting is going to come from him for me this season as I have no Hom foundy mares for him. I think I will just put him in with my main line mares and start searching for lucky het snf girls.

I think I know what my issue is with my Mushrooms. My stud is an ExPro but most of his mares are just general low rank HH creates. I think letting them cook in pasture for as long as possible should help even things out a bit.

With my Chin boys, they are a CD and a SPW but their main ladies are ExPros so how do I work with that? Will the pasture bonus on the expro mares hurt my chances at intact foal more with the boys?

This is only my third year in the game and my first season trying to have some sort of direction with breeding so I am just going to learn as much from my experience as I can.
