Record Missing
  • How do horses that are not auctioned but are for sale get yummed? It's happened a lot lately & I can't tell why, I thought it was cause I dropped prices on some of them to below create cost but I've sold foals for $500 and not had them get yummed.
  • Did you leave foals in the pasture on the 28th of the month? Mares and stallions can stay in the pasture but foals that are there at rollover from the 27th to the 28th are all yummed... That's the only thing I can think of, but maybe someone else has an idea?
  • If someone buys the horse they could yum it. If it's a foundation with no descendants then they are deleted from the game, thus record missing
  • And if you were selling for below yum or auction price, someone might have bought them and then yummed or auctioned to make a quick hb... I know a lot of us are a bit cash poor with the new genes coming out and breeding season about to start.
  • I usually yum rather than auction, no matter what I bought the horse for
  • See, and I always auction for the extra hbs (and since barn space isn't a problem) but I spay/geld pretty much everything except foundations before I send them to auction.
  • Lame people gotta be like that, I put low prices on them so poor people like me just starting out in the game can buy cute horses for cheap, I don't want to keep everything I breed/create cause I run outta room too fast, and to try and sell a few more a little quicker. :/ hmm. Now unsure how to creatively cleaning pasture without horses being yummed, I like to trace back on certain mares to compare colts.
  • That's not being lame that's playing smart. If a foal is for sale for less then auction price it makes sense to buy it and sell it at auction. Everyone has limited stall space. You can't expect other people to keep a horse around that you would not keep either.
  • Kintara- Can I ask why you yum rather than auction? you get 1500 more per horse when you auction them and they get yummed. Or more if someone bids on them lol.
  • I only say lame cause like I stated, when I started playing I created a few of my own then went to the search horses for sale and found some lower than create priced horses so I didn't go broke right out of the gate. If I could get my barns bought quicker I'd not sell them at all I just run out of room but I guess now I found a way to make money too haha
  • Hi MoonAcre, usually because I don't know where they'll end up in auction. If they are foundations with no foals I will likely auction them, but if they have foals, or if it's a lined horse I usually just yum. In saying that I don't yum all that many, just as easy to spay/geld and keep as show horses
