So, I really want to put Splash M on this guy but I'm never using the GMT function before. When I select him, Splash M doesn't appear to be an option on him. Can it not be added to this horse or am I doing something wrong? Thanks!

Do you have enough GMT tokens? From everything I can see the horse himself looks qualified.ISO any and all Silver Pocket Watches!

Yup. I have 16 gmts and one copy of Splash M should be 15. The option to purchase just SP appears but not the Splash M. I took a screenshot but I'm not sure how to attach it here.

You mean Macchiato? Because thats a gene you have to buy into. It was temporarily in the lab during June, I think, but is not usually. Check the announcements for the Summer Refresh event.

Once you select the horse you wish to modify, a page listing his/her genes as buttons will appear (this is the image You posted). You have to click the one you want to change (in this case, one of the buttons that say Sp), and the options will appear at the top of the page with their prices. Just click the one you want.

Yes, Haltanny and ParadisePark have given you good advice. The way the GM Lab works is that it lists what genes the horse you wish to enhance currently has. Then you click the button for the gene you want to change and the options will appear.
The gene from the sire is on the left and the gene from the dam is on the right. This is more important if you're trying to give a foal a gene that it missed from either its sire or its dam. However, unless there's a special sale going on in the lab, as there is now, some of the limited edition genes and all of the closed genes will not be available for adding to a foal who missed one.
P.S. Here's what Ammit said about closed genes offered during this sale:Don't own the license for the closed genes? No problem. They come automatically with your purchase.De gustibus non disputandum. "There's no arguing about tastes."

@WhiteMountain you can search for horses with similar genetics to get an idea of what they would look like :)●▬▬▬▬▬▬๑۩۩๑▬▬▬▬▬▬▬●
