Hidden brindle?
  • These wonderful ladys are a hidden brindle, was running my horses thro the breeders clubs and they poped up as a brindle,
    Honstly dont get how?
And can i get a brindle out of them if i cross with a brindle? I know its extremist in lingths to get a brindle foal but could i boost or mod her to get brindle? Either way im super excited and happy about this and they are a stars and stripes special! And bone fire special!

  • Nice. I dont think you can modify brindle onto foals. With both of those horses being Brindle it does up your chances some. I love brindle horses.
  • Both of those RS are always brindle. :)
You can't breed for brindle, but the chances of having a brindle foal are minisculey more with brindle parents than with none. ;) Good luck!

  • Thats what i figured its just so crazy to get a brindle colt, hopefully i do, i have a nice brindle stallion i plan on breeding maybe one season ill get a one outta them
  • Brindle is ridiculously rare, but breeding from Brindle parents infinitesimally ups your chances.

As far as making these guys’ Brindle more obvious, I’d say you might try rerolling your Stars and Stripes mare. It costs 100hbs to reroll a portrait, but it’s way cheaper than genetic modification!

On your Bone Fire, either adding sooty (probably two copies) or removing one cream (to make her a Palomino instead of a cremello) would likely help it show up. Her issue is she’s so pale, she’s too pale to show those variation in shades.

I put 2 copies of sooty on this bone Fire and you can see the difference

This one got a LOT of modification, but this is what you could get if you added DP and Hom Sty

  • They are beautiful and thank you for the advice i may just do that
  • I got really lucky and bred two brindle foals the same week. I could not believe it. I got a liver brindle colt when breeding my Yule Log stud and got a very stripey blue roan filly from breeding my White Wedding stud, each to foundie mares. I am lucky enough to also own a beautiful second generation brindle pearl stud that was gifted to me by a senior player. I cherish them and they are THE BEST surprise you can get!
BREEDING DARKNESS (ok black liver but it sounds cooler)
    And Silver Blue Pearls

  • I really hope i just get one lol he or she would be my baby lol
  • It may only boost your odds a tiny bit, but if you have a mare who'd be a nice cross, one of my stallions has produced a brindle foal before, I'd be happy to let you use him, or send you straws if you prefer that.

  • Accidentally got my first brindle baby this season, completely by surprise. Only problem is you can't see his brindle at all! :( Oh well, he's still pretty. I'm keeping him intact for now but I don't plan to ever breed him since he is only AGA sire and papered C (but managed to pass SBA). :P
