It's my habit to just click past my home page when I log in, unless I'm looking for particular info. So, while I knew the alerts were up about clearing foals and other such prep for the end of the season, I hadn't been reading them with any special attention.

I thought that I had until the end of the month to get my babies moved into barns. And now they've *poofed* away. Seven precious foals, just gone because I'm an idiot.

And one of them would have been my first homebred KP. I feel sick.

Oh, dear. How sad. The common mantra, "There's always next season." is probably no help, but perhaps next season will be another good one for you.

Ouch! Done that with my milestone guy once.
Temporarily placed a few goals in pasture whilst organising and they were sold back to the game.

What generation was the KP foal? May be able to help you get one similar :D

"there's always next season" indeed. And I've left those mares in pasture so they will still have full bonus and I can repeat the breedings as soon as pastures open up again, so not a very long wait.

@ParadisePark, that's very kind of you, but it's really not necessary. As I said, I only have a short time to wait before I can remedy the situation, it just puts me a bit behind and a few thousand Hbs down the drain. Nothing insurmountable. I just wanted some "you're not alone / not the first."

Yikes I have done that before. Hopefully you get some nice foals and more KP babies.

On a side note I absolutely love the term clue by four. I'm gonna use that one.

You should’ve gotten money for the foals sold so not a complete loss

@Bandit1119, that's actually what tipped me off to my mistake, I saw a payment in the transaction log when I wasn't expecting any income. Yes, I got a bit of money, but I tell ya, I'd have gladly paid that much or more to have that one particular foal.

@Seaswell, LOL! It's a family favorite - "That boy needs a good whack with a clue-by-four." (I assure you nobody ever gets a whack with anything harsher than a sharp tongue.)
