So happy with this boy!

To be honest I kinda forgot about him... But most of the horses from my show line are warmbloods, and I wanted to try and get their weights down closer to riding horses so I picked my two lowest boned A papered horses. (Which also included this guy)

So I rediscovered him, and found a bunch of cool genes I've been trying to pursue for a while now. He has satin (carrier), kp (homozygous), DP (maybe?), 17.1 hands ( one of my goals is to breed an 18hh riding horse), appaloosa rabicano (one of my favorite genes), 0.61 in bone weight (i think one of the lightest boned horses I have), and 3 of the foundation ancestors were owned by my (one of them my first GMT projects who is at risk of aging out in a couple seasons. Most of my favorite lines come from horses I bought into so pretty proud at least some of him is "home grown")

With the broodmares for the show line he did quite well with only 12 covers, and achieving 11.03 PT with some red and blue papered mares

P.s. Anyone have any suitable name ideas for my boy?

P.s.s. At my local dog club we have brags and cries, where we pay a dollar for every time we brag or cry, and the club uses the money to donate to various charities. I'm trying to think of a way to do adapt the idea for here...

Cool idea! Maybe create an account where people can choose to donate hbs (using the pay another member option) or a show pony. Once the brag bucks and the cry currency build up, you can do a giveaway with the accumulated funds!

I have a brag. I picked up 5 BAed Blue WB mares last night, super cheap (create price).

I haven't BAed the fillies because I pretty much breed bootstrap and my boys are super higher so none of the foals pass.

She is almost a clone of her sire, but she is a WB and he is a SP. She squeaked by into WB range by 0.1. I'm going to have to start BAing my Blue and Gold fillies because they are overrunning my barn.

Maybe the subject of the brag has to send straws to 10 (or 5) other people that have a brag? But what about closed genes? Maybe a show pony from said stallion? But what if its a cry and the horse is altered? Or the horse is still young?

I like the giving money idea but giving money to one player who then sends it out seems scary to me. Even if they are trustworthy. I'm no good at fun things. Oh well. lol
