*Silly giggle* You like how it looks like its tied on her mane? Honestly, it's one of those things you don't want to shove in peoples faces, but you're REALLY proud of!

You can count me in, I will PM you about making a ribbon for me. I am not good at making tattoos.

Could someone who plays on the HJ1 server copy and post the original message over there. I know most of them are on the FB page, but there might be one or two who might miss it.

I have just posted a copy of your post on HaJ 1. I think this is a great program and will probably create my own tattoo for both games and sort through my first additions to this program tomorrow. Today, as was yesterday, will be very busy and I won't be home from about 9:30 A.M. to 6:30 P.M. and will spend at least 3 hours of that time driving.

It's an awesome idea! Count me in. :)

@Confluence Farms I made an initial post in HaJ 1. It received enthusiastic responses. I was asked if we would have a pinned thread for adoption notices, and I asked Ammit if that was possible. She told me to make the thread and she would add it to the Important Links post she keeps in HaJ1. I see there isn't such a thing here, so you might ask her about it for HaJ2.

I have made a quick first post in the thread, carefully explaining the purpose of the adoption offers (to improve breeding and showing for a stable, NOT to make a quick profit by buying cheaply and yumming or auctioning the horse off. I also bought IVs for a 120 stall barn to put adoptable horses in, made myself a tattoo, and agreed to accept adoption horses from other players who were looking for a dealer to handle their offerings.

Can you give more details on what happens with donated horses? Given to new members or a low adoption fee? I have facebook but have it temporarily deactivated at the moment or I'd go look.

I have these horses that I can put up for adoption so far. I pt'ed them and I think that their show records are good and make them good for adoption. I created a ladybug tat for my Available to Adopt horses. :)

This is a great idea! I'd love some to help with building up my show points, but alas I'm out of room! LOL

I was also thinking that, so the cost to take it off is not with the new owner.

:-) I am willing to donate or sell for cheap some stud babies for someone in need:-)

I know that I don't have room to warehouse horses until a new person expresses interest. I don't know if someone else might have room for them.

Remember, we are mostly looking for horses that can earn a new person points in showing. Preferably a horse that has shown for some time and has already earned a bundle of points...just off the top of my head I would think 50-75 all time points earned would be a good place to start (other suggestions are more than welcome, but I don't think there is going to be a definite number). These are going to be the ones that are tough(er) to give up because they are bringing in the points.

Personally I am still working to find myself some of those type of point earners. I NEED the few I have. That's why the donation horses I've put up are all 'low pointers' right now, but they will eventually be worth something as show horses, and someone might like them for breeding (several are Ice, and I think one of them is het KP). I have the room to keep them because, until they find a new home they will earn me a few points here and there.

If any of you senior players have input, please share it! While I've played Kinetocore games since 2008(?) I have never really focused on H&J, and could be way off base!!

I'm currrently managing an Adoption Herd barn for HaJ 1. Several players are holding their own adoptable horses and others have sent them to me. It is a 120 stall barn, and currently has 36 horse in it. I haven't had much time on either game to sort through my own possible offerings. If needed, I can probably afford another 120 stall barn here for the purpose as well. Just let me know.
