Paypal Issue

For some reason, Paypal did not take out my automatic payment yesterday (4/19/16), so my HJ2 account is back to a regular account, instead of an upgraded one. I have looked on my Paypal account, and it doesn't even show that it tried to take the payment. My card is still the same card and doesn't expire til 2018, so I don't know why it didn't take the payment. Hopefully it will re-try, but wanted to post about the situation to have a record of it.

Hey KC, was it time for your yearly subscription to renew? There seems to be an issue where it takes a day or two for that to happen. Kaquel posted about it last week I think...

No, my renew is in June, so it should be ok.
I wasn't sure I needed to pm you yet Ammit, or just make a note of it, because I remember reading somewhere (though I could be wrong), that it may take it a couple of tries sometimes for some reason.

Yeah after 2 or so days it finally went through for me. Seems PayPal was slow in the uptake this month.

Paypal did the same thing to me this month again also. I just waited, since it has happened to me before. It does take them sometimes a day or two. The first time it happened, I changed the card, and got charged twice from Paypal. I contacted them, and it was at their end, so they took one charge off. But it is Paypal, and not HJ2.

If you go to your subscription info on Paypal it tells you when it is going to try again.

It did the same for me. It didnt even try to charge me and I had morevthan enough in the account.

So I think there is something else going on here. I've looked at my subscriptions on paypal as well as my account history and it shows no indication that it ever tried to process a payment. It should have taken a payment on the 12th, but did nothing until the 15th. It also says that the next payment date is May 12th, which means I'll be paying three days early. So it's like I paid for those three days where paypal was hanging, even though I had only a basic upgrade during that time.

Yeah, I checked mine. I also get an email if it doesnt go through. God knows I have had that happen before.

Kaquel if it waits 3 days it means it tried and then failed. The 12th is your normal date to pay that is why it is going back.

How could I tell if it tried and failed? I can't find anything in the history that indicates that. (And it absolutely should not have failed as I have had plenty of money in the account it pulls from.)

Everythings back to normal now, got my upgrade back, so Paypal worked.Thanked by 1Ammit
