Pasture Breeding Question
-
Is there a way to turn off automatic breeding for pastures? Im low on barn space so ive been using my one pasture as a storage place and not for mass breeding but i just got an email saying my pastures have bred... which is unfortunate because i had a lot of my higher gen ladies in there and lower studs so now ive got a bunch of uneven foals and a whole breeding season up in smoke! Oh well... there's always next month....
-
Aw, dang it. Showponies? Auction?
I don't think there's a way to turn it off, but if you keep your stallions out, they can't breed when it runs. :) -
As far as I know the only way to eliminate automatic breeding is to never stash both sexes in a pasture at the same time.....but one of the older players may know something else!
That is really frustrating...I hope you at least get some great show ponies out of it! Though, I guess if you were low on space, show ponies won't be very helpful to you...definitely time to repeat the mantra! There's always next season! -
Don't think you can . I think Ammit said the only way was to not keep a stallion in with the mares. I also make sure if i do place a stallion in the Pasture for a short stay i make sure they are same g in case i forget lol
-
Yeah, just like real life, if you turn them all out together, nature will take its course. :)
-
Ditto what everyone said. Make sure to take the stallions out. I only keep my non showing mares in pastures. I am always interested in show ponies, if you decided to alter, and sell the uneven horses, let me know, I might buy a few from you.
-
I will buy show ponies too!

Just leave the foals in there, they'll eventually get sold/yummed and I think you end up with $1000 a foal
