I just posted this girl on another thread and noticed some odd things!

First thing I noticed was that the tattoo shows a C and an S on the other thread (the one about The Favorite Pony). I refreshed the image and that was corrected.

But then I scrolled down and noticed that she was GMT'd. I don't recall ever having purchased any GMTs on HJ2. And certainly not using one on this mare! And, since I'm not a fan of splash, I don't know that I would ever add it to one of my herd...again, especially not to this mare!

I double checked all my KD games receipts, and couldn't find any that listed a GMT.

Please help me to understand that I am not losing my mind!!

Oh, and it doesn't appear in the genetic testing results.

She probably was a bugged HH horse. I have a few of these that show GMT tattoos instead of HH tattoos. Let me see if I can find one.

There was a bug thread back in the summer about it, but I'm not sure if it's still around. It don't think it can hurt to make another if you can't find the old one.

There are only 2 posts on the Bug board, and neither is about this, and nothing in the repair log, so I think I will go add it to the bug board, just to be sure Ammit sees it.

While I'm at it; Has anyone reported that the pictures in the search don't always reflect the adult horse? I have several 2 year olds that still show foal pictures, but only when I do a search. On their individual pages it shows the adult picture. Also, some of the babies show the 'background' tattoos (not the ones on the horse body, just the corner of the picture ones) and some do not. I tried refreshing a couple and it didn't seem to help.

Stop me if I'm going over board noticing things that aren't really important!

Oh, and folks, feel free to call me Dena. Mostly because that's my name, but also because Confluence or Confluence Farms is a mouthful!

You can fix pictures not updating in the search (but being up to date on the horse's page) by just refreshing (literally hitting F5) on the page that displays the search results. It must cache the thumbnails somewhere and often does not refresh them without a player forcing it manually. It's a weird thing because doing a new search will not force a refresh. Let me give you an example:

If you click on my link and then go the the first horse, you will see that her page displays her adult image. No matter how many times you hit "search" at the bottom of the page, the thumbnail will not update. However, try hitting F5 and you will see it refreshes.

Good question. I'm not sure if it's a bug or not.

It's not a bug. It's the way browsers work. They save pictures in a temp file so if you go back to that page, they can load it quicker. Refreshing tells your browser to go look again.
