So I thought it would be Interesting to see where everyone was from . I know we have a few countries represented so call out you country,
I will start I am from Western Australia My family originated in the Orkney Islands of Scotland, My Brother Lives in the UK . We went back to Scotland this time last year for his wedding, So that would account for my to favorite breeds Quarter Horses which are quite popular in Australia and the Friesians which while being a dutch breed just remind me of Scotland. So where is everyone else from

I'm in the US, east Alabama to be exact. I wouldn't mind going to Australia though! Abbey is right about Tennessee, I love driving up there - especially in the fall!

I'm in the US, too. St. Louis, MO. You may know us from such noteworthy uprisings as Ferguson, and recent protests at a Donald Trump rally. It actually is a REALLY great place to live, though!! :)>-

We are located at the confluence of the Mississippi River and the Missouri River. Thus; Confluence Farms. And the fleur de lis is one of the symbols of the city. Thus; my signature, and tattoos.

Hey jailee it is a small world,

My mom's family ancestry dates back to the 1st Laird of Duarte Castle, on the Island of Mull, in Scotland. But I was born, and raised, in the US. In the very most southern mountains, of southern California. Mt Laguna and Pine Valley area. Then I moved to the Portland area of Oregon. Next was the east end of The Columbia River Gorge in Hood River, Oregon for 20+ years to help my family. Now, I am back to a military town, on the ocean, (hence the name of Oceanside,) in southern California again to help family.

Well, I'm living in Northern US, near Boston, Massachusetts, though I grew up in North Eastern Kentucky, but originally from Massachusetts, so came back "home" after I graduated high school, and very happy here.

If we want to go way back, my family is from Ireland, and came over during the 1800's. :D

I'm from the United States also, living in Northern Utah. Which is pretty different in landscape from Southern Utah. So more like Rocky Mountains and less like the Grand Canyon. :)

Representing Pennsylvania as well! I'm pretty close to the center of the state and this time of year it always has a little look of Ireland with the green hillsides and the sheep dotting the pastures across from me! I grew up in a house a few miles from the one I have now and it was pretty well on top of a mountain. We had five acres and on a good day, if you stood on the roof, you could see five different counties and had a beautiful view of the Susquehanna river several miles away. That started the whole "High Five Acres" thing for me. Now I'm half way up a valley wall, so I don't have quite the view, but it is still beautiful and we still have about 5 acres, so the name lives on!

Another Aussie here! :) I'm from a little town in south eastern New South Wales. Traveled all over Australia (Dad is in the army), but now that I'm an adult, I've returned to my birth town for the foreseeable future. Grandad owns about 200 acres just out of town and I will (hopefully) be the 8th generation to farm it :)

Only new here, but I'm from south east Western Australia... Only lived here for 2 years, used to live in Victoria.
Have a TB mare and my partner has an appy gelding and a pinto mare.
Have a dog, Diesel who is a Kelpie X Huntaway... Just recently moved to a new house so now we now have 4 chooks also... Lol

I don't think you'd want to come here at this time of year, got all the rain from the hurricane in the US , also getting a bit chilly , if you ever come and visit , I'd recommend Aberdeen and Ullapool :) I hope to go to Washington for a break away , it looks so nice ! :x

Born, raised and currently living in Aotearoa, Land of the Long White Cloud! For those of ou who don't know Maori, that's New Zealand. I decided to breed draft horses based on the most recent horse I rode, a Clydesdale named Tom. He's an old boy and is owned by my boyfriends grandfather, who breeds them. My dream horse is a dapple grey Andalusian. I fell in love with them at El Caballo Blanco. I will end up getting a Kaimanawa, NZ's wild horse, as a horse eventually though because I love what the Kaimanawa Heritage Horses are doing and want to support them. Don't know yet if I'd get one straight from muster though or one that was trained by them for a while.

Middle of the US in Indiana. Centrally located in the state too lol. Ancestry goes back to Irish royal Guard and ,two tribes of Indians. The Cherokee and Blackfoot. Never want to settle down hence the name of my breed Wylde.
