How long have you liked horses? Forever, my mother had me on my first ride (with her) at 6 weeks old)
Why did you join HAJ? Looked interesting in the fb ad.
What kind of pets do you own? 2 cats, 2 dogs, numerous dairy goats, 2 Silkie Chickens, and several rabbits
Looking for new friends? Sure
What is something you are confused about with the game? Just starting out, so let me come back to that one.
Coke or Pepsi? Pepsi or Monster (I know, bad bad bad for me, ooooh! New name line, possibly)

Hello everyone! So, some stuff about me:

I've loved horses for about as long as I can remember. I started taking riding lessons when I was seven, and when I was thirteen got my first horse. I enjoy working with the greenies, and giving them a solid learning base. My current horse is a grade Quarter Horse named Pilot, who was a solid chestnut and is now roaning out (I'm still slightly puzzled as to why now, instead or earlier).

I've been a member on the original HAJ server for a little over a year now, and decided I would like to also have an account on the second one.

Besides my horse, I own a small fluffer, a Jack Russel/Poodle cross named Pepper because of his coloring. I seem to accidentally acquire roan animals for some reason. I like cats, though I've never had any.

I haven't gotten confused yet, it's very much similar to the original HAJ except for the horses growing faster.

Coke or Pepsi...wow, do I have to choose just one? They're both really good, I guess it depends on what I feel like, and what they have available at a restaurant. (In that case, most of the time it's Coke.)

I've loved horses and other equines all my life, having received my first Breyers my third Christmas, my first ride on horseback at age 4, and drew my first recognizable horse at age 4 as well.

I stumbled across this game and decided to give it a shot. So far, so good, other than having to wait for things to cycle, like any newbie! :)

I drink neither Coke nor Pepsi for medical reasons, though I have liked both in the past. I know, I'm a weirdo.

Hello everyone!

I love horses but as my real pets I have a rabbit, dog, cat, bearded dragon, and hamster... I'm building a half-sized Noah's Ark in case it rains. I don't breed any of my real life animals but I love genetics and genetics games so I can't wait to give this one a try.

Hi! I joined in April 2018, and made a second account this month so I can focus on different lines. I'm a little confused as to the welcome pack, though? There was one in April, and now, for my May account, it popped up the welcome pack thing, I joined a chat room, and then....radio silence. Maybe that special went away? Does anyone know?

On a more personal level, I work full time, have two sons (one grown, one teen), and have a dog and cat, though have always loved horses.

Hello! I'm a huge horse lover, and actually had my roommate who I met through our college equestrian team introduce me to the site. I grew up showing Paints and Morgans so I've been attached to horses since I was extremely young. I'm loving the site so far, and have found I have a particular love for Bay Splash Roans, not to mention I'm already almost out of barn space haha. I currently don't own any pets, but I do work for a Humane Society where I pretend like I am an owner of all the cats and dogs because they're all so lovely. It's nice to meet everyone~

Hello fellow horse peeps. I've loved horses forever but never had a great opportunity to do a lot with them until I went to Utah. There I was able to ride a ton and helped to train/ride a few horses as well.

I don't think I ever introduced myself. I started playing in January or February this year because I saw an ad on Facebook. :P I've played a genetics based dog game forever, and then started playing a different kind of breeding game last year, before making my way over to this one. As surprising as it may sound, I actually don't know squat about genetics. I tried learning on the dog game and it just goes *shwoop* right over my head. So, basically I just breed and hope for the best. :)

Another surprise is that I'm actually not a huge horse lover, but, I did grow up around horses. My aunt had a farm of show horses, and they bred them too, obviously. It was always fun going to her house and visiting with her 20 horses. One of my friends loves horses though, so we collected the Breyer ones (and other brands) and we always played with those. I used to draw them out of the catalogs all the time, lol. Because of that, I'm pretty good (I think) at drawing horses!

Right now, I have five dogs and a cat.

My plans for the game/ my stable, is to breed very tall Draft horses. I really like Blues and Blacks, and Roans. I have a heart for Buckskins too though. Just so pretty.

It looks interesting, so I decided to play and make an account dedicated to naming horses after food (mostly because every time she asked me for name suggestions, all I could compare the horse's coloring to was food...)

Hi, just kind of stumbled upon this lol.
I've loved horses for a long time, just have never owned any of my own. I've been riding for as long as I can remember.

Currently moved from my hometown to attend school to be a vet tech, maybe specializing in large animal I'm not sure yet. Sharing my house with my bf of 5 years and our dog, Holly (German shepard mix, rescued off a reservation in Arizona before being brought to my local shelter.)

I also play Flight Rising, which is another accurate genetics sim but with dragons. My name on there is DJFeather.

Hi everyone, my other account (rockyriverranch) got lucky with a candy pony, so that one is my main acct now. While reading the forum I saw something about adopting a showhorse and decided that would be pretty awesome using this other acct instead, but now i can't find it again... I'll figure it out. In real life, I'm a little afraid of horses. I was thrown from one as a small child. She made sure I had a soft landing, but it was scary!
I have two rescue dogs and a pet catfish... And two teenage human children.

What were the other questions? Oh yeah, kept seeing those Facebook ads, and now I'm hooked.

Hi all
I have a question. I have been playing for a few weeks now and I don't understand what it means by earning 'stalls'. Its on the home page. I have earned two stalls, but no idea what a stall is?

A stall is a division of a barn that holds one horse. Every one of your barns has a certain number of stalls. You can earn additional stalls by creating and breeding horses. Once you have created or bred 200 horses, your Primary Barn gets one more stall and will be able to hold one more horse. However, if you send horses to the auction and the auction buyer purchases them or if you sell horses back to the game, then you will lose a point toward the new stall for every horse you remove from your stable this way. I believe that this is because you do not make anything more than create price by such actions. Any horse that is sold for more than create price does not affect the count toward a new stall.
