I usually start these by saying I don't have anyone old enough, but this month I realized that an SS present is now 17. Is is ChasinTheCash, a Homozygous brown stud with champagne:

I'll really miss him if he's gone next month. :( I've got at least 20 straws in my freezer, just in case. :P

Who might you lose?

I say this each year. I am no longer able to pull straws from him, or even live cover. But he is still in my barn, and will be until he goes to the Horse Pasture in the sky.

Lyrical Poet: I bought him from Abbey a loooog time ago.

I will also miss this mare when she goes. I am no longer able to breed her live cover, but I can use straws to breed her so far. She is one of my oldest mares, from my original buckskin line, from when I started to get interested in actually playing HJ2.

I have two this year. This gorgeous silver black gen 5 broodmare from Abbey Road

And this handsome and amazing gen 2 silver brown sparkly stallion from Eccentric Equines.

I stored a bunch of straws from this boy but I forgot to store eggs from the mare last season, hoping I can get one more season from her at least! I love them both so they have a home for life with me no matter what. Fingers crossed!

I have 6 rank special mares that are 17 this year. I am going to be a sad girl come roll over. Up until this year I've only ever lost show ponies.

Abbey, Lyrical is 24 years old now. He has to be one of the oldest horses in the game.

Rose, he has 14 intact progeny out of 24 still in the game. Yes, All Hunter is a palomino. She is lined to two of my first foundations. I only had one stallion and a couple of mares. So, All Hunter is inbred. Her grandsire and sire are buckskins, her dam in a smoky black, and her granddam in a chestnut.

I'll be sad to lose this guy. He is already 19, but I've held him so dear to my heart and he has given me some lovely foals that are excellent producers as well!

I have 585 horses that may pass at rollover. The oldest is 26 :)

The one who will be missed the most are [url=http://hj2.huntandjump.com/horse.php?horseid=161202]Dark Choco Fudge[/url]. This is his last breedable year either way, but I have a pile up of straws from him :)

I could lose Pure Luck Prl. She is a pretty mare I bought from Abbey Road. I've stashed a few eggs from her just in case but I would love to have her around for a couple more years.

I just lost my Dense Appaloosa stud Dr. Pepper, this rollover. I forgot to pull some straws from him too, but thankfully I have several B papered sons from him to continue his line.

Oh man, I lost Lyrical Poet and Sizzling Toad last night. Those were two I had expected would go soon. I also lost my favorite W2/Frame stallion, Toad Spots. He was a son of Sizzlin Toad.

I lost around 40 horses that went to the 'pasture in the sky.' Including one I was hoping to have for a couple of more seasons.

My very, very favorite stallion, Mystery Doodles. He was my 2nd gen brown stallion, and my Benchmark for all my 2nd gens. He was the start of my brown line, even though he was a 2nd gen. I pulled a lot of straws from him though.

Some of my best mares, Seven Spanish Angels, Forbidden Crossroads, Bluegrass, All Hunter, and Walla Walla Sweet.

Good Bye my babies, your progeny will carry on!
