Im Crying ;-; *Now happy tears*

Sooo i made i big mistake..
i FINALLY got a 2nd gen snowflake egg, and i was feeling a little giddy and slightly impatient so i used my HETERO snowflake stud, and, well..
bOOM.
Mantes Wolfgang 4G
He is HETERO SNOWFLAKE. i mean, yeah, he's really pretty.. but i spent so much money, and a lot of time looking for the right mare.. im just a little sad. I could always GM him homo, right? (Since both parent carry snowflake) Does anyone know how much it would cost, and/or what alleles i would even change to make him homo?
UPDATE: it must have been a bug or somethin' cause i tried the breeding club two times, and no horses showed up under snowflake, but i left and when i came back and tried again, it said that this pretty boy is in fact in the snowflake breeders club! <:-P now all i gotta do is change his size in the GMT Lab and he will be perfect for my new lines! ♡ -
For lined horses it only costs 1 gmt to add or remove something! The reason why is because you can only gmt on what the parents have. However...snowflake isn't in the gmt lab, so I don't think you can gmt it on at all at the moment. There may be a sale later on for it but until then, I don't think you can.Producer of Volcanic Glass Drafts. Lapisobsidianus.

Seriously? Dang. I could have sworn that it was a gene that (if present in the parents) could easily be accessed and GMed. Well, i guess he is still really pretty, and he'll make a good stud either way. Thank you very much for telling me!

I think it'd probably be to stop those gmting a restricted gene onto a horse that they bought that didn't have it. Otherwise it'd be easy for some people to buy a horse from a nacre parent who didn't get the nacre gene, and then gmt it on so that they could then breed it.Producer of Volcanic Glass Drafts. Thats true, i never really thought about it like that. I have one more question: (its kind of a general genetics question, im just not that good at it lol) say i were to breed that hetero colt with a hetero snowflake filly, would the foal have a 50/50 chance of being hetero/Homo, or would it be just hetero?
-
If you can, looking up punnet squares and practicing them would help a lot! Basically the cross would be like this: S=snowflake s=not
Ss + Ss = SS, Ss, sS, ss. Which means the foal has a 1/4 chance of being hom, 1/2 chance of being het, and 1/4 chance of not getting the gene at all. That is always the chance depicted of two het's being crosses.
Hom and het: SS + Ss = SS, SS, Ss, Ss, which means 1/2 chance hom, 1/2 chance het.Producer of Volcanic Glass Drafts. Lapisobsidianus.

Um, I think he's hom snowflake. Have you tried to register him in the breeder's club? Only hom ones can beThanked by 1horsey2

Wait, what the heck. Oh my gosh. Okay im crying even more, but these are good tears; i swear, i checked like two times, and no horses came up. I checked right after you commented, and he is hom snowflake. It must have been a bug or somethin'. Thank you sooo much @DevilsParadise! If it wasnt for you, i wouldnt have checked a third time :D
