ISO: SMALLEST foundation horse possible!
-
I decided to do a project and start with the smallest bone possible and work my way all the way to the largest bone possible. To start - I am looking for foundation riding ponies that are 0.76 or below AND 13.2hh or below
Any color, shorter the better, lighter the better, must be consistent, and pass SBA.Thanked by 1Lallyhop -
There are actually a fair few girls in the foundation rescue that might interest you, if you haven't checked yet:

I have a 0.78 but he’s a third gen A paperedWatercolor, Chinchilla, Axiom, Nexus, Wrong Warp, Nacre, Ice 5/8, Satin and Pearl

@obsidiankitsune - Oh! one actually fits what I want! thank you!!
@levesel2 - I just created a ton of stallions and I was able to get a 13.2hh 0.76bone foundation. I think I'm good with him unless I can find one shorter with smaller bone :) thank you! -
If there is any colours that you'd love to have, I can create HH's from that if I manage to roll it and sell you the mares. I can only BA them though, and would sell at create price every BA mare that meets your bone and height requirements.Producer of Volcanic Glass Drafts. Lapisobsidianus.

@obsidiankitsune - I really don't have a color preference for this line :) I just want to try to get the shortest with the smallest bone to the tallest/largest bone. I'd like to see how long it'll take. I'm still not sure what "rules" I want to set for myself. I don't want to "cheat" and just breed to the highest bone/etc.

Both are .76 bone. The first mare is a Texas tea and is 14.2, the second is an Expro splash and is 13.2.ID# 43830

Except that that's a lined horse. They want foundations, and already have a stallion. There are only 3 RP with bone less than 1 for public sale that are foundation mares.Producer of Volcanic Glass Drafts. Lapisobsidianus.

Ack! Sorry about that, and thanks for pointing it out @ObsidianKitsune. I missed it when I read. :\">Justa ~ ID# 44842

@RedDeeFarms is 3k ok? I’m out and about right now, but just let me know what chat you want her in.ID# 43830

@HTRanch yeah! that sounds good. I'll add you to my chat
-
@RedDeeFarms Good luck! I think I’m gonna jump on this bandwagon and try the same thing myself - it looks fun!
I think the rules I’ll set for myself are that foundations are fine to buy, but they have to be tiny RH ponies only, and then everything else has to be bred in house and I’ll just be keeping the bigger ones!
I’m working towards the smallest possible cobs on my other account, but it’ll be fun to start tiny and grow :DISO any and all Silver Pocket Watches!
