I was checking my liver chestnuts because of the new Liver Breeder's Club. I refreshed a couple of them I hadn't done yet. Fourth Of July Pass was a W2 Frame with quite a bit of white and brown eyes. I refreshed him, and he got a little more liver than white, and his eyes changed to blue. \:D/

Ahhh, doing the happy dance here! I got another liver chestnut, that switched from brown to blue eyes, this one I bought from Abbey. He also went from an almost full bald face to just the spot on his nose. I love the blue eyed liver chestnuts!

Abbey, I was sooo excited when I refreshed Click, and the spot on his muzzle instead of a lot of white on his face, makes his blue eyes stand out even more. He was about 1/4 white on his barrel and legs also. I love his tummy spot now! In fact he looks a lot like my brown mare in my avatar, except she has brown eyes.

Definitely looking for splash mares to put with my black chestnut stallion! Most of my splash girls are in the Ice 8 pasture, since I think homozygous splash Ice foals would look really cool....

Oh Kaquel, he is gorgeous. I got another liver colt with blue eyes and a nose dot last night. His grandsire is Click Clack, so he is passing the eyes down with the color.
