Hi All!

I am having a tough time deciding where to focus my breeding program, but I think I have finally settled on silver black. White horses are flashy, but I like some good, rich color. What are other people thinking of?

This is a great game, but if you find that you have questions, I'm one of the players who is always ready to give answers, especially about game details.

My primary gift is teaching, so one of my favorite things to do in the game is help new players understand how it works. And when I'm wrong in my assumptions about some background hidden programming, Ammit has been great about correcting me. Thank goodness!

I'm a pretty casual breeder, so if you're looking for advice about culling or establishing multi-generation lines, I may not be your best source of information.

I always answer private messages and check in on the game every day, unless real life gets extremely hectic or I'm away from home.

I've loved horses all my life but have never been able to own one. For the last 28 years or so, I've been volunteering with a therapeutic horseback riding program which keeps my real-life longing pretty well satisfied.

@WhiteMountain I have a lot of solid colored horses in my stable, and silver is one of the genes I'm fond of. However, I'm a confirmed pixel pony hoarder, so there's some of almost everything in my barns and pastures. :D

Hi guys I pretty much joined at the beginning of the month, but I'm still trying to figure out where I want to go in my pursuits. I already have two accounts, so I can focus on different things. I can see already one of my lines will be nothing but true blacks as well as working on dun. I probably won't use many fantasy genes unless I think they'd really work in my favor.

I'm also breeding for height since the more hands the better in my opinion.

I have one dog and he is the best guy I've ever met, also I work with TBs & OTTBs at the rescue I volunteer with so I have all the horses a girl could want! We're actually getting low on rescues which is new since normally we have about 70 that includes boarders, rescues and any owned by HART itself.

Hello Everyone! I have always loved this game. i had to step away for awhile because raising 3 boys gets hectic. im back and still in love. i have 2 horses in real life and one is due in july. i have a 13 year dog and 3 fish tanks as well. i have always been fascinated by horse color genetics. i hope to meet some new friends here too!

I agree @bealsranch I find horse color genetics fascinating. It is right up there with domestic cat color genetics. For example, my best friend had one of her cats recently have kittens.. mom is all white, but dad is a big orange Tabby, think Garfield, and the only reason we know this is because all but 1 kitten is white. I was so interested in what make up that little orange kitten received to be the odd ball of the bunch. Why only one orange kitten but the rest white?

@WhiteMountain I have also decided on breeding silver blacks! I'm going to try to breed some silver black tobianos with dapples as they are my favorite. I also haven't decided, but I'm thinking of possibly breeding liver chestnuts in the future, I just don't know how to breed for them! :))

If you're playing on a computer (the only device I'm familiar with), and you want to switch accounts, I recommend logging out of one using the Log Out link at the bottom of the left menu and then closing your browser window.

Then open a new browser window and log into the other account. For some reason, just closing a tab, or switching accounts using an open browser window leaves the first account activated in the forum, even when the game account has been changed.

My daughter and I sometimes use the same computer and we occasionally run into this odd quirk, suddenly finding ourselves logged into the game, but posting on the forum with the other stable's name. :D

Hi everyone! I joined closer to the beginning of April and just saw this thread. I'm going to try to breed Appaloosa Warmbloods without other white genes, but we'll see how that goes. I live with my husband and our two birds, and I ride a couple of times a week.

Hello Everyone. I have always loved horses since I was little. I own 3 horses of my own. My 2 boys do 4h with 2 of them. My other one is just 21 months.
I am going to concentrate on breeding appaloosa sport ponies. Not sure what colors yet.

Hey all! This is a secondary account -- I started my main account in January, but I wanted to test out the new pointed creates and see how tough it was to start a new account from the ground up with no purchases! (It's much easier so far -- I really like the new pointed herd helper feature.)

I agree the genetics are fascinating! I'm breeding champagnes (mostly gold) and I'm going to try to get into liver chestnut too, because that seems like a fun challenge.

I have one 15 year old cat. I'd love to get a dog but my husband isn't sold on it yet. We shall see. :)

Hi, I joined in late April and have been slowly getting the hang of things. I don't think I've decided on a breeding focus yet, there are just too many colour combinations I like! Mostly involving silver, cream, champagne and dun.

In real life I own a buckskin QH filly that I'll hopefully be able to ride by the end of the year. I have 2 dogs, 2 cats, a goat and 2 chickens at home as well.

Hi all, I've been here since the beginning of April. I don't have a breeding focus yet, so I'm just randomly pairing. I'm trying to figure it out though. I'm enjoying the game, especially that I don't have to spend hours training. I don't have to be on everyday.

In real life, I don't own a horse (wish I did, of course) but I own two cats and 1 dog.

I love learning about color/structure variations in animals, this game is pretty fun so far! I like horses but because I'm very allergic to their food I doubt I could own one. I have two dogs (a shiba inu and a basenji) and have three fancy pigeons c:

Am I seeing things, or does the size of a horse actually reflect in their image? I only just barely started to notice, is that really a thing? Does the bone density change the look as well, besides being the difference between like draft and warmblood etc ?

HI BetaRayBill - No, bone density doesn't appear to change the look of the horse. Though if it changes enough, your horse will change type (from a draft to a warmblood, for example.)
