I absolutely love seeing other people's project horses! I think a lot of people have pride in their special gene foundations, and with the gene sale I know there will be an influx of new ones. If anyone wants to show theirs off, do so. What gene does your new horse have? Why did you get it? This is also a great way for newer people to see some great options when it comes to gene tinkering :)

Even though I did not need it, I got another splash M. He needs a little more work still, so I can't wait to see his final color:

I won’t be doing a whole lot of tinkering with him, since he can throw black, bay, and chestnut just the way he is. But I absolutely had to get splash M. I’ve admired the gene since I joined in January, and when I had the chance to get it I had to. I can’t wait til next season to put him with a bunch of my FF ladies.

I got a Nacre Stallion as my new gene and I'm loving his babies already, crosses really neat with watercolor, TS, ice, and nexus

DP RS The Fallen
Took a Catch a Blue Moon colt and added hom mach and hom KP. You can see a little clouding on his face in front of his eye. I liked the splash M when it came out, but I had just started and wasn't sure if I wanted to put a lot of real money into this game. That's gone out the window in less than a year :-)) Also tinkered with him and took off the w2 to make him a true breeding silver blue roan. I guess my silver blues and silver bays will be splash M as well :)

Not Until Morning is my new Het Nacre, Het Axiom B project. He was also my first time using the GMT lab in game. I took a black perfect foundation and turned him into a silver smokey black appaloosa to take over my Silver Black line since I didn't have the room to start a whole new line. I'm absolutely smitten with him, though!

Yule Log filly
added hom Macchiato, hom DP

NaF Yule Log

FF filly (my biggest project)
changed her from Black to Black Liver, removed her Frame, added hom Lp, added PATN1

NaF Freak Snow Storm

ExPer colt
changed from Bay to Chestnut, added Sty and hom DP to make him Black Liver, added hom Macchiato (just waiting for his order to process)

NaF Splash of Darkness

This are going to be the start of a DP/Macchiato line with some random solid Livers to expand the herd.

I just bought my first ever gene - macchiato. I put it on my black FF filly. She's got some more GMT work, like taking off the frame, adding rabicano, and some kind of agouti that I haven't decided on yet. I can't wait to start the rest of her GMT'ing. :D
