Hi, I'm just trying to get my head around how it all works with the end of the monthly breeding season, as I've only been playing for about a week.
From what I've seen, it says that on the morning of the 28th breeding will end for the month. Does this occur at exactly 12:01am game time? As I'm in Australia, I'm trying to work out when that will be for me as I don't want to get caught out. Also, what happens to the pastures, do they get shut off until breeding reopens? If I had auction mares stored in the pasture when breeding season ends, what would happen to them?

All time is done by game time. Foals still in the pasture on the 28th will get deleted. Pasture will open on the 5th next month for those who have bought something with RL money, and the 7th for those who haven't.

But what happens to mares or studs still left in the pasture on the 28th? Can you still put horses in or take them out, or does it literally close down? And if so, does this happen from 12:01am on the 28th or sometime later in the day?

Is happens at 12:01 am on the 28th, yes.

You can keep horses 2 years or older in the pastures and they'll be fine, it's only foals. People tend to keep mares in the pasture so that they gain their 30 bonus days and keep them, as the second a mare is removed from pasture they lose that bonus. Stallions get no bonus so they don't tend to be kept in pastures, however they can sit in there.

Thank you, so the pasture doesn't actually close, it just doesn't allow breeding over the closed period? So if I put mares in there I can take them out to sell at auction or something if I decide? Just trying to free up some space since the auction bug has left me over full, but I didn't want to lose any horses on the 28th

Yeah, between the 28th and when breeding opens for your account all of the breeding buttons should be gone, but that's about it. Can still test and move stock about

I am in Australia too in WA roll for for me is midday there is a game clock that tells you current game time

I think it's 2pm for me so I'll work around that. Because it's the 28th here already
