Did both have frame? Frame is hom lethal, and gmting it on is one of the only ways that a horse can be hom frame. If a foal is born hom frame they die.

A Freaky Friday will always have foals with het frame, unless gmted different. If bred to a het frame stallion, there is a 50/50 chance of the foal getting both and dying.

I had a look at the HH shared here and yes, it seems like all CaBM horses should be het frame. Apart from kit lethalities (two kit genes and too much white), these are the other lethal combinations. These combinations are lethal 100% of the time:

Homozygous frame = lethal
Homozygous Splash 2 = lethal
Homozygous Splash 3 = lethal
Heterozygous Splash 2 + Heterozygous Splash 3 = lethal.
Splash 1 and Splash M are safe with everything.
Appy does not increase the white on a horse and is safe with everything.
Rabicano is safe with everything, and on it's own location.
