The ratios have not been touched or changed in anyway.

I was wondering about that myself.

By way of experiment, I went into the search engine, typed Era 1 (January), and in the Tattoo field I typed, one at a time: "white," "frame," "rabicano," "tobiano," "splash," "silver," "champagne," "producers," "exceptional," "perfect," and "appaloosa." Only one of these searches yielded any results at all, "appaloosa" -- 5 horses who have a Rank 3 Buckskin Appaloosa tattoo. This suggests to me that the game has only produced one HH in this era that contained one of those criteria. Unless I'm missing something I think I covered most of the options for anything above rank 1, although I am not 100% on that since I haven't been playing that long, and I play more on HJ2 where I don't see that many above Rank 1. Still... other than Convo hearts and GMTs I don't get very many Foundation horses under age 6 who are patterned or rare colored in any way, either, with very few exceptions that were generated randomly on a Rank 1 HH.

I rather like that higher rank HHs are rare in this game, it seems more realistic to me, but a LITTLE more common than that would be ok, and it seems like if you spend the HBs reroll the chances should go up a little? And it definitely seems like they were more common in Era 0.
