Favorite real life horse and why (may be current or historical): Has to be my sweet Jazz Z Miss. My Thorougbred mare who passed away 2 yrs ago. She was almost 17 hh.. and the dam/grand dam of a couple of national champion Quarter Horses.. namely, "Makin My Mark" by Dynamic in the Dark. She now has grandbabies competing in the NSBA circuit.. Not only was she an amazing broodmare.. I purchased her as a therapy horse for my youngest son who has sever social anxiety disorder. He told me, Jazzy makes me feel better.. Although we couldnt ride her due to an old shoulder injury. She was so calm and gentle to work around.. My son would lunge her on his own..groom her.. take her out to grass.. and she gave the best 'horsey hugs!!" Shes pictured on my game profile.. with my son

Favorite real life horse and why (may be current or historical): Izzy, one of the first horses I took lessons on and the one I consider a once in a lifetime horse. This horse gave me a good seat, I fell off of him more times than I can count in the beginning. As we spent more years together we knew each other so well I barely had to twitch my finger to get him to canter. This little 14.3hh horse gave me his all and not a day goes by I don't miss him or wonder where he ended up.

Last season I was finally able to breed a *Star 4G. Granted, he's not completely homebred because I bought his dam, but I'm proud of him all the same.

Half-sister to my fav foal. Their sire is one of those whited-out w1's you mentioned. Don't care, still a fancy G1 liver.

Bonus short story from the "improbable things that could have gone much worse" folder: Dad & I were heading home from fishing, boat on the trailer behind us on. Suddenly we see a trailer tire roll past us. It crossed 2 lanes, the grassy median, then the opposing 2 lanes, and finally down an on ramp. The tire came to rest against a tree, still standing up. The highway was oddly devoid of other cars at the time so luckily no one had a head on collision with a speeding tire.

If you'd like a header I can give one a shot. We can hash out details in a message. Most time consuming part of mine was handwriting Callisto on my phone-screen until it looked right. Much quicker to do one like I did for ChevalStables and use a font.

Favorite real life horse and why (may be current or historical): Has to be the first horse I ever owned. Toby was a rat-tailed, black snowflake, 14.3 hand, unregistered Appaloosa mare with a severe Eeyore complex and a habit of trotting along the fence-line with her ears flat and her tail stuck straight up like an obscene gesture. But under saddle, she was such a clever jumper for an almost-pony stuck competing against big horses that she held her own in hunter over fences classes, and somehow managed to ribbon well in hunter under saddle classes in the era before “western horse” markings were considered acceptable. It was probably the tail. In fact, I showed her under the name “Randomly Detailed.” Get it? De-tailed. (I know. I know. That poor mare.)

Favorite game horse you own and why (include link): The first full crop of foals I bred included this completely unexpected… pink… colt. When he popped up, all I could do was laugh hysterically. Then he papered as A and I laughed even harder. I know a little more about the genes now, but he still makes me giggle.

I have always loved dressage and when ever I watch the video of him doing freestyle in the 2010 Olympics, it brings a tear to my eye and makes my heart melt.

My first sable brindle that I have bred! I LOVE sables! Obsessed really.. =)) I consistently scan the auctions and sales for sables to add to my show herd.. And the fact that he is one of the few Brindles I've bred is icing on the cake. :D

Sable brindle.. obviously.. lol but I am in LOVE with him! His owner has given me straws from him because they know how crazy I am about my sables and I recently lost my sable brindle mare (my favorite horse I've ever owned on H&J) at rollover. I've got a few gorgeous mares and a few show babies from him so far and can't wait to have more money and space to get a couple more.. :D If had any GMTs I would take a page out of @Daze s book and make one of my Yule log stallions a sable too. :)

I spent all my spare time with him. We were either getting pretty, driving, jogging, visiting folks in the neighborhood, doing parades, or going to shows.

Favorite real life horse and why (may be current or historical): My first horse, Ring. He was the smartest old man you'd ever meet. Practically bombproof unless he was purposely wanting to have fun with me, and was a perfect angel bareback and bridle-less. I got him when he was over 25, we never knew for certain how far past that point he was, but he still had quite a bit of energy. We would run up and down the access road and my dog would run with us, or go wandering down country roads and exploring. He was a bay thoroughbred - no racing tattoo, but when I wanted to try barrel racing, I found out that he knew exactly what he was doing. I was all ready to just kinda canter around the barrels to get a feel for the pattern, since I'd had no prior experience - but when we left the gate of the practice arena, he took off quick enough he only barely made sure I stayed on. 30 seconds, certainly no record breaker, but I didn't even have to steer :))

This pretty boy is pretty much my goal. I want to breed high papered high PT drafts, as there's hardly any of them compared to the lighter sorts and the cobs. No love for my draft babies. =(( Thirteen PT drafts here I come! That's why I'm entering this contest - I need the organization, lol! Another barn would be an immense help! :)

@pfrsue I loved your De-Tailed story. I remember as a teenager hanging around with my barn rat friends and talking about “show naming” one of our horses Backwards or something similar just for the ring announcements “and here is number 107, Jane Doe riding Backwards”.... I'm glad you enjoyed mine. Just for fun, I dredged up an old picture of "Randomly Detailed" and a much younger me. She still ranks as the best horse I've ever owned. :) Thank you again!
