I've created this account for an experiment. I am going to use creates only to build a showing stable. I will not be using real money, outside horses or breeding during April & probably May, the project period. The goal is to build the best show string I can and try to earn an Upgrade in that time, without any external influence. Results will depend somewhat on luck (lotteries, etc) and on diligence in hand training and showing horses every week. Do you all think it is possible in one month? Or two? Or do you think it will take longer?

At the end of the experiment, I'll start a breeding project with a well established show herd. It should be fun doing it in reverse from my main account where I bred first and built my show herd after/as I went. :)

I think 4 months is more reasonable. But I'm sure with lots of dedication you can do it in 2

I would like to try something similar with a new account, but have to decide first, what I am going to do with my main account.

Think it will take much longer than 2 but it will be interesting to see just how long. My bet is it will take nearly 5 months without buying anyone elses horses and without breeding at all. Unless you win the lottery :)
Easier than before though with Ammit's new pointed creates for small stables!

Actually if you nab a few RS and sell them you might make it a lot quicker! :D

My contest account is making bank today when my second reroll was a great show horse HH.

So far I’ve created horses with 90-443 points and have sold them for 3500-5000hbs each.

Started with enough money to create 4 horses and am up to 20 before I filled my barn up. I also hit the 250,000 lotto lol so it might not take as long to earn enough money to be sustainable as it used to be. Unfortunately I will most likely reach the 20k points limit soon so won’t have the extra points bonus on my creates

So far I've hit a couple 10k lottos and that was helpful. My daily bonus is already 800+, but a few of those horses are going to be put up for grabs, and I still have plenty of room. I tested out a price system by taking total points and multiply by 30, every horse sold in under 12 hours, even spays. So I think I'll continue that for now. I got super lucky and got a Catch A Blue Moon that I'll be auctioning later, and one or two Exeptionally Perfect that may be auctioned as well. I think I'm doing pretty well for only 2 days in. :)

I'm doing a 6 month experiment! I want to see what I can do in barn, breeding included, in a 6 month time frame. So we are doing very similar things!

Very cool. I'm doing 2 months of no breeding, or until I get 20000 points, then I'll breed if needed. But the experiment won't end until I get enough to get a basic upgrade via IVs. That's when I'll really start breeding for keeps.
