What does "Pastures can no longer be used to over stuff your primary barn"?
-
Do the tweet mean that we wont be able to take foals out of the pasture if we have more than primary space?
[hypothetical] - What if we breed 40 mares and then remove them and their foals?
Any explaintion would be greatly apprecated as I'm a little bit confused.
Thanks

If you have a 40 stall primary barn, and a 100 horse pasture, and you breed 100 horses in the pasture, you will have 100 foals. When you click Remove All Foals from the pasture only 40 of them will move into your Primary barn. Then you have to move THOSE 40 into a DIFFERENT barn before you can move the other foals out of the pastures.

Hmm.. I was wondering about this too, but I think I did that anyway.. lol I don't usually stuff my barns full. I usually have enough room in my primary for my small amount of pasture foals. :)Breeder of Quality Warmbloods and Show Horses

Thank you for explaining! And BlueJumpingBean thank you for asking. I was really thinking I was missing something. Glad to know I wasn't the only confused one here.

Overfilling your primary was a way to increase profits from breed and dump. Using it you could just keep moving the studs and mares out and keep breeding until you had hundreds or even thousands of foals, you mass clear pasture to move them all out at once and then auction them for insane profits.

Have to admit, I kind of did what Ammit said. But I would only breed a line, do some breeding, then dump my foals into my primary barn and overfill. After my testing, I usually had a fair few to send to auction.Producer of Volcanic Glass Drafts. Lapisobsidianus.

Yes, now I've gotta hope that the ones I get out of pasture first aren't the ones that I want to keep! xDProducer of Volcanic Glass Drafts. Lapisobsidianus.
