    I’m currently beefing up my foundation herd so hopefully in a few months I will have more up and coming show horses for this and be able to raise the bar.

    A tip I’ve learned from my contest account is not to be quick to discount the older horses that have been sitting about training but haven’t been shown much so don’t have a lot of points.

    Some of my highest point earners only had 3-18 points when I picked them up but have 80-145points at the moment. In less than 4 weeks, at least 2 show horses I’ve only had since Sunday and they’ve both earned over 100 points each. I’m currently in 19th on the contest standings board up from 27th last Thursday and I’ve only bought 2 or 3 horses with over 100 points the rest have all had 18-40 or less points.

    Is this still a thing that you're doing? I missed out on picking up any ATA horses (I've been a member too long to do it now :( ), and I'd love a little bump to my show numbers... doubling it won't do a whole lot for me but every bit helps at this point!

    Yes it is. I will get them up within the next day or two for sure. My cell service is really crappy at home and has taken me almost an hour to connect.

    Your welcome. I enjoy doing it so far. And for the most part the rest of my show horses recoup the points I give away within a few days.

    There’s still about 11 pages of show ponies to give away between the ages of 11-16 with 24-107hbs/day in show bonuses.

    @grumpyGen can you confirm your total points and daily show bonus? The show bonus should be = (total points X 0.75) divided by 7

    But both numbers are found on your home page

    Oh, I'm sorry I gave my yearly points not my total points. Whoops!

    My page says
    You have earned 418 points overall.

    You currently hold 1,574 points.

    So my total earned points are less than the points I hold? Which I don't understand but that's what the page says. :) Anyway, the math works out for the second number!

    418 points are the points your horses have earned while in your barn. 1,574 points are all the points your horses have.

    You page should say

    “You currently hold 1,574 points.
    You earn a (168?) hb's daily bonus from showing.”
