What are the associated accounts? I clicked on the associated accounts button out of curiosity and found that there are 4 extra accounts associated with mine. I have no idea whose they are. How did they get connected to mine? I have only 2 accounts. My main account and my contest account.

I believe that associated accounts are accounts that have connected at some point from the same IP address. So say you logged into your accounts from a local Starbucks. If someone had used that same internet connection at any point, they will be considered "associated" due to that log in. I'm not 100% certain, but I believe that's what can happen. I'm sure one of the more veteran players will have a better answer for you! :)

I was wondering the same thing, as I have 3 accounts and 3 or 4 associated accounts on the list. I play from my phone, so I'm not sure who would be using my ip address.

Lol I’m associated with 15 other accounts apparently, and have only interacted with one of those. It’s from IP addresses, if you access the site while you are away from home and happen to use the same IP address someone else did it will happen. No big deal until you see one under flagged.

They can become an issue if you happen to try and sell a horse to someone you are associated with. If that's the case you'll need to get someone with an upgrade to help finish the sale in their chat room.

Thank you everyone! I was afraid it would keep me from opening a 3rd account. I want to do a long term project where all the horses are ones that I have bred.

I really just want more space so I am gonna need a spare account at some point and I love that in the contest account for having some building income so I can hopefully keep all my pretties for the duration of their lives.. lol :x #ahorseisforlife :-)) :\">

The same question just came up in HaJ1 recently. Ammit had this to say about the effect of Internet/WiFi capable phones, etc.

Random associations is defiantly becoming more common with how few mobile carriers there are. I can actually tell if you are Sprint/ATT etc from your IPs.
