Consistency
-
What does the consistency mean for breeding? Because I have horses that are in the 8-10 range and are consistent and others in the same range that are inconsistent and what does the scale of 10 mean? Sorry I've only been here like a week or less

Consistency has nothing to do with breeding quality. I don't cull for consistency unless I have an over abundance of horses and I want to cull more to thin down the herd. Long term breeding inconsistent horses I believe can have an effect on the PT of a horse, but I'm not sure on that.

Here's a specific link about how consistency effects show horses: http://hj2.huntandjump.com/forum/discussion/20397/what-does-consistent-and-inconsistent-mean#Item_1
