To help spread out server resources the opening of pasture breeding will be staggered from this season on. Those members who have purchased anything from the game store in the 4 weeks prior to the 5th will be able to use pastures on the 5th. It can be any item purchased for real money at any price. (I have a feeling it won't see special order gene purchases though). Your premium upgrade payments count as well.

Anyone who has not purchased anything in that 4 week period will be able to use pastures on the 7th. Since pastures are so expensive in server resources to run, this change allows those who are actively supporting server expenses to see some more direct benefits from that.

I am hoping once all our upgrades are finished we will be able to push those opening dates earlier but the 5th and the 7th is what I can make work for now. Thank you for your understanding!

Premium upgrade payments? Awesome, I hope so! What if your payments happen to be in the space not counted, though? Four weeks does leave out a small amount of time. What stops you from having it be both plain Premium Approved and payment in the last month?

Roseflute 4 weeks does not leave out anytime. That is Feb the 5th. "What stops you from having it be both plain Premium Approved and payment in the last month? " I do not understand this question sorry.

If you have not helped pay for the server costs in the past 4 weeks by buying something from the game your PASTURES will wait till the 7th. You can already breed as a free member.

I think she means, what stops you from allowing both the people with Premium Approved accounts and people who have made a payment in the last 4 weeks from being able to breed on the 5th.

Pretty sure the answer is, because that won't spread out the breeding enough to reduce the impact on resources.

I mean since most months are a little more than four weeks, being 30/31 days long and four weeks being 28 days, there'll be a few days unaccounted for, and if some people's normal Premium payments go out on the 7th or 8th, they'll miss out. If the criteria for getting early pastures are slightly widened, if sort of made redundant, to include both Premium accounts and people who have bought something from the store, then we don't have to worry about people who pay for their accounts on the fringe days. :)

@circlesranch instead of being able to pasture breed on the 5th players who haven't made a purchase with real money in the past 4 week will have to wait till the 7th to pasture breed.
So you will have to wait an extra 2 days :)

Sounds great Ammit! Anything to help keep the poor server from getting hammered, especially on the months when HJ1 and HJ2 have seasons open at the same time!

Circle, pasture is a good way to make profit, that remains. You just have to wait 2 more days for breeding if you don't buy anything with real money. This is just a way to try and stop the server being overloaded by everyone breeding their pastures on the same day. There's a chance that it may not remain

@circlesranch, unless you're thinking of the method of money-making where you create a bunch of mares, pasture breed them, and then dump all into the auction? Ammit just means pasture breeding in general. Before this announcement, pastures opened for use (they wouldn't breed at all the days before) on the 5th of each month. Before that, they opened like regular breeding on the 2nd or 3rd like everything else, but that strained and broke the servers. :)

That's okay! You'll be fine, prom is only as good as it needs to be. If it's horrible or disappointing, that's okay, there will be other events, most even more meaningful, if far away, and if it's great, it's great. :D
I had a different kind of prom, since I was homeschooled. My family met up with a bunch of other families within a certain program (Classical Conversations) once a week during the school year, and then at the end, the high school kids went to dinner and a show. :) No dates, no dance unless that was the event.

I think this is a good idea to keep the game running and it is a fair system. But... for me it sucks as I have rubbish patience and waiting until tomorrow has been hard enough. oh well at least my girls will have 2 more days bonus on them.

Ok it should now be properly reporting your pasture start time. "Game supporters" (those who can use pastures on the 5th) now have a check-mark next to their name on some pages.

It will get used for other things in the future as well so figured it would be good to have a easy way to call it on my end and a good clear mark for the players so they knew their status.

Lovely idea. And it's much better than some game that either don't allow free accounts to breed at all, or they can only breed a very limited number. I've said it before, this is the only game I've ever played that I ever considered paying money on, and every decision you make seems to take all levels of players into account. You try very hard not to alienate any section of players, and that's part of what makes this game so wonderful!

I was on heavily on both the 5th and the 7th and the server ran great both days. So I think it really helped. :D
