I have a bunch in auction on my contest account but no money. Makes it tough you can't bid when you know u will have the money when auction ends:(
Also this contest how shown me how much I wish there was a prices list or something so you knew what ones were at what prices instead of having to click on each horse. that's the main thing I miss about private auction. -
That sounds lovely - wish I could ride today but we are covered in snow :(

I don’t see any bargains for contest accounts at all. They’re all either Dark Star bred or may age out before the contest ends or 5k+

Funny how people complain they have no money but then don't want the horses that may very well give them a bunch of money. ;)

I found myself bidding on quite a few of the old show horses with a lot of points, as well as some young ones with 50 points. Went as low as 50 but didn't have enough money to continue bidding on the last few.Producer of Volcanic Glass Drafts. Lapisobsidianus.
Prices are almost always negotiable. -
I picked up lots of very low point level 7 plus horses from rescue. They are really starting to rake it in.

I bid on quite a few show ponies last week that are 5 and 6 with low points and they are doing well for me

I'm obviously looking at the wrong horses, I saw ones with 200-300 points going for over 40k! And once under 100 points for 10k! I bid on a few but i have to get ready for work now, on afternoon shifts

I can't find any high pointers that aren't super high priced whenever I search. Oh well. -
I put bids on a lot of ponies - didn't get any of them - v tricky when you cannot be around at the end of the auction - never mind :)

Same for me, 2am is not going to happen these days. I used to years ago haha.
I'm sure once the contest is over things will go back to normal and these lower pointed horses will sell at a more reasonable amount.
