Watercolour is a closed gene, only those who own a foundation are allowed to have entire/breeding stock.

Watercolor is a closed gene. Only those licensed may breed/keep intact horses. You can purchase spayed mares and geldings as show ponies. Just like certain ice genes, axiom genes, etc. Geldinngs and spayed mares do come up in auction from time to time.Player ID 37457

If you see a color tested horse that has any genes in their gene code that is marked in orange, that means that you have to pay real money for the gene to be allowed to own an intact horse with that gene :)
