She may be yellow Papered, but Oh My!

You got a black chestnut from a HH?! Amazingly lucky! And papering yellow is fine for a normal HH.Producer of Volcanic Glass Drafts. Lapisobsidianus.

Oh wow! I would just love to buy her :O @-)Thanked by 1Xceptional

Now who to breed her with next season.

HOM DP 1631580
I have gotten a HOM DP from a HH before. It was a shock! (She only has one copy of Ssty)
@Xceptional I have a HOM DP FF Stud with out frame for stud if you want to use him.

Wow, she is beautiful!Id #: 43017

Oh my goodness, I'm usually not a RH fan, but she is stunning!
-
She's gorgeous! And as others have said, what amazing luck to have a homozyogous DP pop up from a herd helper! Congratulations.
Breeding her to homozygous DP stallions would allow you to start a line of such horses to continue to wow us all. :DDe gustibus non disputandum. "There's no arguing about tastes."

Congratulations! I've had that happen once or twice. The first one I named OMG. I think she's still hanging around a pasture somewhere! Most of my Foundations are B papered, but I have one C papered liver guy I keep just for situations like this! http://hj2.huntandjump.com/horse.php?horseid=1442297
Also, I know that, at one time, RoseFlute had a bunch of black liver riding horses. Don't know if she still does, or if any are foundation, but it couldn't hurt to check.Thanked by 1Xceptional -
If you’re interested in other colors of DP horses, hit me up. I’ve got a chocolate palomino, but I also have all sorts of different Hom DP bay/wild bay/brown boys with patterns. I’m happy to share a straw.Thanked by 1Xceptional

What do I look for in a Stud to breed her with? I will buy one just for her. I also have a chocolate palomino mare yellow papered that I knew I was hanging onto for a reason. :D

Xceptional, please note that yellow/C papered horses are perfectly fine for foundations. Some people even keep second generation yellow/C papered horses and just breed them back to foundations, so long as they passed BA.
If you want to keep her colour in her foals, what you're looking for is another black liver. Freaky Fridays are all guaranteed to be black livers, but they do usually come with hom frame which can make it hard to breed their offspring.
If I were you, I'd take up the offer of straws. You have a premium so you can use them and, while they're more expensive than just breeding outright, you'd get access to many beautiful boys than if you stuck to live breedings.Producer of Volcanic Glass Drafts. Lapisobsidianus.

Ok. I will remember that for next season.

You asked what to look for in a stud. That depends on what you are after! If you want a better chance of the foal passing BA or SBA, then pick a C papered stallion. If you are more interested in color and willing to take the chance the foal is altered, then go for a black liver foundation with a higher paper level (B). If you want a black liver foal and DON'T want the risk, use a C papered Foundation black liver stallion.
I have 2 foundation black livers. One 'plain' and one with Satin. You are welcome to straws from either, but like I said, they are B papered.
If you breed to a regular liver stallion you lower your chances of a BLACK liver, but will be guaranteed a liver. My regular liver boy is C papered, though, so he would match her better paper wise. Or you could take the chance with either of the Black liver boys. I'd just charge you the pull cost.Thanked by 1Xceptional
