Was it just luck or something making her special?
-
so i have this mare:
SZ Dezinite
i bought her on December the 9th and she was at the show level, 3L however the first show i put her through after that she went to 7N. i was just curious as to how this could happen in just one show, was i just lucky or is there something that makes her special? she wasn't spayed before i bought her however i didn't spay her until about 3-4 weeks ago. -
That was her first show entered since July, so I'm guessing her search/personal page doesn't update that part until she shows at a new level. :) She must have been training the whole time since she stopped showing. :D
-
It's possible she was in a pasture, where she couldn't be shown. This would explain why she was shown in a 3L class before you bought her and then she began showing at 7N.
RoseChalice may be correct about when horses showing level gets changed. However, I have just checked one of my mares who has been in a pasture for over a real-life year. On the Horse Info tab of her page, it lists her level as 7N. When I check her Records tab, it shows that she was at 2W the last time she was shown.
Did you check Dezinite's Info tab or her Records tab to see her current showing level when you bought her?De gustibus non disputandum. "There's no arguing about tastes."

Horses continue to level up from training alone and showing does not cause them to change level. Just training.

Crazy question, why would you spay this mare? She has amazing breeding potential as well as showing. Just curious as I'm still trying to learn the genes and stuff.
-
She's only a red papered mare. All second gens should be red/B papered. And her pt is only 10.30, which is good but not amazing. They could've spayed her because she no longer suits what they are breeding for, but has enough points to keep on as a show horse.
I've done that myself. Had a horse that I've used for a few months, but they either no longer suit my requirements or they've been replaced by something better (usually what I do for my stallions). I'd then evaluate how many points they have, and if they have enough I'd geld/spay them and chuck them into my show barn.Producer of Volcanic Glass Drafts. Lapisobsidianus.
Prices are almost always negotiable. -
When Mare papering used to only be available after she’s had 3 foals I spayed the majority of my mares as soon as they were tested unless they were a high paper or had special genes.
That’s the beauty of this game. Every one can play whatever way suits them as long as they aren’t breaking the rules -
@HeavenlyHooves, i spayed her because when i originally bought her she fit into my breeding program, however i have moved away from that line how however considering her show level i didn't want to sell her as she is a great source of income for me :)
@ObsidianKitsune, thank you for explaining this you worded it much better than i could have :-))
@Riley119 the game is wonderful i completely agree!
